Really bad customer service and the manager was very rude and racially profiling me
The bagger woman felt it was necessary to open every sandwich to rewrap them all huge problem once the food leaves the kitchen it's not to be opened by anyone else. You learn this in food safety. They are so unorganized making the same drinks 3 times and starring at the screen looking so lost it took 30 minutes to get 4 sandwiches on the inside. Go anywhere else but here
every time i get a meal there they give me the wrong items or forget the fries. like come on, the only reason people ever go to mcdonalds over a place like chik fil a is for the fries, and you forget the most basic element of the meal? there's accidents and then there's weaponized incompetence to drive customers away so they don't have to do the work. this location does the latter given my experience there.
Probably the slowest drive thru in the chain. No one showed up for work and it was manned by new trainees. I did eventually get a good Egg McMuffin. But, when they handed me my Iced Tea and my Coke, there was no ice. I had to ask for a cup of ice. No one seemed to know how to work the ice machine. It took over 30 minutes to complete my purchase.
We stopped for lunch after gassing up next door. We didn’t expect much and we weren’t disappointed. This place is run down and not clean. Tables were not attended to and the restrooms were good if you don’t mind swimming to the porcelain convenience. The food matched the ambiance. I’ve never had a Big Mac that was so bad. The burger was cold and grey. Just bad, even by fast food standards. The chicken McNuggets were OK but they weren’t heated up. Skip this place.
Stopped in to order breakfast. Waited at counter for someone to walk over to take my order. When he finally did, he and the drive thru worker and another person kept talking and interrupting me while trying to give my order. I asked for the manager and she was the third person. It was not busy as, well they were standing there joking around. Unacceptable customer service! They should all be fired! Very rude. I don't understand the 3.3 stars. Should be 1 star
It's McDonald's. There isn't too much different between especially since they took the color out of most of them and now it's just grey. They do pretty well for being understaffed. Haven't had a mess up in awhile either by dashing it, picking it up, or dinning in. It's also pretty clean on the inside.
Slower than molasses running uphill in the winter time. How is fast food fast when you have to wait 20 mins to get it?? Oh wait, I only ordered a drink-still took 20 mins. Every McDonald's I've been to has only gotten worse and worse. My first job was drive thru in fast food, you had your order in hand in less than 3 mins from the time it was placed. THAT is fast food.
I dont know if its labor shortage or mismanagement or both but as a Doordash driver and as a paying customer for the last approximate year, I have had almost nothing but bad experiences- lobby closed randomly during normal hours, long drive through lines, short drive thru lines that take stupid long to clear- and tonight is the third time I have been there that they closed completely and didnt block the drive thru line, so me and other people are driving up and sitting at the speaker while they ignore us inside. As a Doordash driver this wastes time that I could be earning money elsewhere.Just a reminder why McDonalds used to be on my blacklist, I guess they're going back on. How this place is still in business when they can barely get through a dozen cars per hour is beyond me.And FYI, the other Martinsburg location really isnt any better. If you want a consistently good McDonalds you'll have to drive to Inwood- fast and really friendly workers, and they're open when they say they're open. If you want coffee, breakfast food, or literally anything else that McDonalds has other than their Big Mac sauce, Sheetz next door and down the road will do better, faster and often cheaper, and their rewards program is way better IMO.Edit 1- Not sure why the recent barrage of 5 star reviews without descriptions but maybe corporate doesnt like sub-3 star locations lol
Like most McDonalds and other fast food establishments the service is very slow. I can say my order has always been correct (not true for all McDonalds locations) and the food is always hot. It is very busy during the day due to it being at an exit off of interstate 81.
