Not handicap accessible very difficult to get in and out of building. Historical text designation and decoration was nice the same food was acceptable and some was overcooked or old from the buffet
First time there. We had noon reservations for Easter Brunch. Our waitress was great. The food was nothing special. I would say for 50.00 per person it was drastically over priced. Some of the food stations like the bacon was empty the entire time we were there. Not impressed.
Exceptional as always! Chef Walden
Absolutely wonderful brunch! Amazing variety of dishes and the staff went above and beyond expectations. The quality of each dish was superb and made from scratch! We will be returning!
I have to disclose up front that I am writing this review as someone who performed for their St. Patrick's Day celebration and not as a patron, so when I say that the music was fantastic, you can take that with a grain of salt. What I can say with no real conflict of interest is that everyone I saw seemed to be having a wonderful time. As the band, we were treated with to go boxes, and I can honestly say that everything Chef Walden put out was absolutely delicious, even reheating it later! I need to make a point to make sure I get to enjoy his cooking as it is meant to be served at some point soon.
Today was our first experience at McFarland House. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Brunch as the food was top notch and the service was outstanding. We met the owner and she was most pleasant to converse with and offered us plenty of excellent information about the house. We would definitely go back for the Brunch. I do wish they would offer coffee without an additional cost. That is not an unreasonable request for a buffet that costs $35. per person.
Sunday brunch was amazing! So much delicious food. There was such a variety and everything was so tasty and fresh! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was so nice and helpful. Chef was charming, attentive and has a wonderful singing voice! The price was reasonable for all the food offered. Bar drinks were extra but delicious! We'll be back!
Celebrated my grandmother's 70th birthday here for Sunday brunch. It was not easy to obtain a reservation as they are not open on weekdays at the moment. The blueberry flapjack is hands down the best pancake you will ever have- don't skip the flapjack ?? We parked around back and walked through to the atrium for brunch.
The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is delicious
I read all the reviews and was really excited when I made reservations for Sunday Brunch for my Moms 82nd Birthday. The Meal and dining experience was very disappointing. We arrived at 12:30, and there was no coffee, no bacon, sausage gravy, no eggs, etc. My parents were very disappointed. We were a party of 5, paid $35 per person and No Hot Food, plus they ran out of some foods, etc. Our waiter just disappeared, and I was catching kitchen staff to ask for food for my parents. The bill was $260.00 and my family was totally disappointed.
