Best hotdogs in the world. You will not find a better hotdog sauce recipe anywhere. I've known this since the early 70's. My only complaint is that after all these years of having the absolute best recipe they have not yet found a way to mass produce this goodness and make it available where I live in NC. Share this goodness with the rest of the US. :-)
When I was a kid in the 60s and 70s, it was a real treat to eat at Stewart's. I still eat there occasionally, mostly for nostalgia. Their root beer used to be served without ice in a heavy frosted glass mug, which made it delicious, but I can see why using mugs may be cost prohibitive today. I'm giving them 4 stars not because the food or service is particularly good, but because Stewart's Drive-In is the type of restaurant everyone should experience at least once, before they're all gone forever.(Yes, of course I've heard about the controversies involving the current owner. However, the point of restaurant reviews is to review the food, service, etc. I don't address any opinions about the owner in any of my reviews, unless it's directly related to my personal experience with the business.)
Limited menu, but good food, great service and decent prices. This is served carhop style, but they do have outdoor seatng for the summer.
The food was delicious it was good and hot exactly what I ordered the car hop was very friendly.

Staff is always friendly hot dogs are delicious we work out of town so everytime we come home we head to stewarts

Fantastic outdoor carhop style diner. Got Exactly what we ordered, hot dogs with chili sauce, onions and mustard. Root beer and a wonderful meal.
Absolutely love this place my late husband use to take me here 25-30 years ago. Whenever we would go to West Virginia he would take me there for their hot dogs and root beer.. Just off a whim I decided to go back and see if I could find it I am from northern Ohio drove all the way back to Huntington West Virginia just just for their hot dog and root beer.I am getting ready to go back for another drive just for lunch Is fantastic place great memories
Always great experiences here. Good is consistent. Staff is on the ball.
