Had a great lunch with my hubby. Was very happy with our food and service.
Great food, very friendly staff, beautiful view. Highly recommend!
Location is beautiful, you feel like you’re at the beach and the service is great. The food quality is just very poor. I got haddock. I’m honestly surprised they would even serve it because of how terrible it even looked. It felt and tasted like a dried up fish pork rind. My wife got the Pollock. It also looked awful and then had a weird tough and dried up skin around it. It’s sad because the place has so much potential but food has to be good.
The food, service, and atmosphere are all kinds of awesome!Save room for dessert***The one drawback is that people can smoke near outside diners. I did not like that!!!
Great food, great service, great setting- really, what more could you ask for?
Amazing place for private parties until it opens back up for next Season. Beautiful atmosphere and great place for pictures of sunsets :)
Beautiful space!! Sunset view was spectacular to say the least.
Felt it was a little expensive and food wasn't a great as I had hoped it would be. Staff was super friendly, restaurant was clean. Great views and sounds like they are working on bringing in some great entertainment. I may try it again in case this was just an off day. For 4 of us it was over $150.
I was eager to try this new place, and the bartender was the only good part of the experience. We arrived on our boats and decided to dock and see if they were open. They looked closed because only a few were there at 7:30pm last Sunday. We ordered several dishes and drinks recommended by staff, however the crab cakes were terrible and they did apologize saying they aren’t as good as normal because the old cook left. We ate literally one bite and didn’t touch them again, but politely agreed they weren’t good. The mashed potatoes were even worse, but we ordered multiple items to try since it was our first time. They not only wouldn’t take the crab cakes off the bill which was $200, but instead after we paid and left walking to the docks we were locked out, as the manager was locking the gate. As first time guests we were not aware of the marina and docks, we realized he locked us in on the wrong side. When we asked to be “let out,” the manager continued walking away with the bartender saying it’s easy when you have keys. Preventing one friend from their car, and the two of us locked onto the private marina side. I wouldn’t expect amazing service at a casual diner on water in Guyandotte, WV, but I definitely would expect it to be better then McDonald’s. Not be locked out of a parking lot and into a privately owned marina where there’s no way to even possibly get a cab or Uber. Especially when we did not complain about the bill or poor food quality that the actual staff apologized for when we were trying it.
This is a really good place to come and relax. They have amazing food. The new menu is awesome. I can’t wait to go back ?
