We tried Backyard really because of a few pictures we saw online. Amazing place! We were seated right away and had awesome service. We tried the lobster cheesesticks - huge portion and really good! I had a pizza with steak, my wife tried one with roasted pear - they were both amazing. We will go back and, if you read this far, yes - go try it.
Food is ok. Extra charges for everything even the marinara. They also charged $12 just because we brought in a cake though we didn’t get extra plates or silverware. Clearly much more concerned about every penny than what customers think!
We just recently heard about this place even though we've been to The Peddler next door several times. I'm really glad we did, because this food was incredible. We got the lobster cheese sticks, the crab rangoon pizza, and the Praise Dale Raise Kale pizza. Everything was very good, but the pizza was exceptional. The sweet chili sauce on the crab rangoon pizza is a perfect compliment to the other flavors. We will definitely be back.
One of the best pizza places around. Their menu is very good with the classics or make your own and weird pizzas that I never thought would taste good but strangely enough they do. Highly recommend visiting backyard if you are in town, the food is great the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is inviting
Oh my gosh!!! What kind of heaven on earth did I just find!!! Seriously tho. If you are in this area you must try this place out.
A wonderful addition to the many traditional pizza restaurants in the area. Conveniently located in downtown Huntington, Backyard Pizza has funky decor and a wide variety of specialty wood fire pizzas. We tried traditional toppings like sausage and pepperoni along with the Memphis (bbq chicken) and Warren Pear which was a delicious addition to try. They have great homemade root beer. The wood fired brownie with cinnamon ice cream was a unique and delicious desert that is large enough to share with multiple people. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick, even with a larger party.

Backyard is always fantastic wood fired pizza and salads. The seafood there is also great. Try the tenderness and the Kale salad!
