It was a Sunday at a downtown restaurant, so I imagine it was slow, but man, the food was bordering on returnable. They were out of several items, but they were getting a truck delivery while I was there. Asked for regular nuggets and got spicy instead, but the chicken sandwich was decent enough. The fries didn't get finished... Moral of the story? Coulda been worse...
There was an employee lounging (I mean in an almost fully horizontal position) on the stools at the entrance. I have no problems with employees getting their well deserved breaks, but there should be some level of pride in the company they represent while wearing the uniform. As we "dined" two other employees joined this young woman on break time. At least by that time, she was upright. The chicken on my sandwich was mealy. The bun, lettuce and tomato were very good. My husband said his Baconator tasted "off", though I don't know exactly what that means. The soda options were limited, which is sad when they're being offered from one of those fancy choose your flavor machines. It was impossible to find a clean table. We chose the table closest to clean that we could find and still made darn sure that our food never touched that surface. The table next to ours was smeared (I mean modern art work smeared) with ketchup and/or Frosty. Two tables away on the other side of us there were dozens of napkins spread in an extraordinary disarray.I noted earlier that there were three employees taking their break by the time we left the restaurant. I mention it again because I think that maybe, just maybe, if breaks had been scheduled so they didn't overlap patrons dining in would not have to endure the constant alarms going off in the kitchen. There was a silent period that lasted long enough for me to note it and comment about it to my husband. Immediately after I commented the alarms started again. There was always at least one, sometimes three, going off. All of them with different annoying tones, bells, or whistles. In summary, we were tired and very hungry so we ate. Would we recommend that restaurant? Absolutely Not! If I could give it negative stars, I would do so.
They forgot the fries.. Had to pull around and go in and ask for them... Employees just standing around , some even on their phones while so called working.. Finally after I asked for them A SECOND TIME.... They finally took the time to get what I ordered and paid for ..The bourbon burger had a few scraps of bacon on it... So sad .. If you are that hungry ... So sad
I found the charging port island to be a useful feature inside the restaurant. The outdoor tables had umbrellas which made for a relaxing lunch considering it is a fast food restaurant.
Great food and fast service with great attitudes. My order was wrong but they fixed it no problem
Placed order online and paid for it as well. A quick trip Wendy's. RIGHT!!!!! Already waiting 5min for my pickup order. Had to cook the chicken. REALLY!!!!!!!! Did not even have my order started. Still waiting 8min now.Still waiting. It's starting to getting a bit ridiculous!!!!! 12min now. WOWSoon as I turned my engine off to walk in, I FINALLY GOT MY order.Definitely not worth the headacheLooks like Kids mealSome advice Wendy's stick with lunches.
Stood there for 15 min before I got waited on because your cashier was outside smoking, the fries was cold, you could hear the workers cussing up front, the cashier was rude, didn't wash his hands when he came bk in from smokening, the manager was talking, cussing, making sandwiches he was not very friendly, trash cans were just setting out in the lobby no trash bags in them. There was no reason for the cussing on the front line for all the customers to hear. SAD, lazy, workers.. do better Wendy's thanks
I had hot fries !!! ?service was good dinning room could have used some cleaning,,, mostly around the drink area
Lol, Avoid the one in west side and just come here! This Wendy's is best in a four mile radius. This place is yet to mess up my food. My other choice is kanawha City! They are just as good. Followed by South Charleston.
Can talk through the intercom, but refuse to take prefers through the drive thru. Lazy and absolutely ridiculous. Just watched them take two orders to turn us away. Rude and losing business for no reason.
