Twice now we’ve come when they’re supposed to be open and they’re not. It’s nearly 11am on a Saturday and it’s closed without any notice indicating why or when they might open.
I have been coming here literally almost every single day since this location opened and like 90% of the time they can't get a simple Coffee Frap order right. How hard is it to make the most simplest drink on the menu?? I always have to get my drink remade and even then it's usually not correct. A frappuccino should have somewhat of a sweet taste, but nope always bitter and bland like they forget to but the clear syrup in it. Most of the employees have horrible attitudes as well. They always turn off mobile orders for literally no reason. The younger employees are only worried about socializing than doing their jobs properly that's why the wait times are ridiculously long.
Waited over 25 minutes for a drink. Was told we got a large mobile order (Kinda figured maybe you would tell someone their single drink would be near a half an hour). Requested refund since they didn't know how much longer it would take. They also didn't know how to do refunds. Overall, solid waste of 45 minutes of my day and $6.
Honestly, I believe the milk in my drink was sour…they were out of every type of alternative milk product (i.e.: oat milk) and almost all flavorings. They have the slowest person in the world working the food. Those people are not very friendly and I am sure overworked. This location is my least favorite.
I enjoy this Starbucks location more than any other I have ever visited .The Professionalism that Cedric maintains in his inviting personality is top notch!Sweet Jenna and her wonderful personality and hard work she portrays is easy to see!Great drinks/food with great service and great people I highly recommend
Fabulous customer service, honesty about temporarily discontinued products, fast and easy! I would go out of my way to stop at this location again in the future. And, love the coffee, egg bites and banana bites.
I ordered an iced caramel macciato and they sent me a hot one. I nearly burnt my tongue off. HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME… please give me a gift card to make up for my trauma ❤️
A huge shout out to Aaden who took time to acknowledge my 3 year old. My son said his name and then asked the barista his. Aaden had a huge smile and enthusiastically chatted with my toddler as I waited for my drink. Thank you for taking the time to brighten my son’s day even when you were clearly busy. We have left many times with him upset because the baristas have been too busy to acknowledge or talk him. This is our favorite Starbucks in Charleston because our drinks are always made right!
Thank you for such a great experience!! The food, hot chocolate and coffee were absolutely great! This was my first time to Charleston, WV I had to meet my little cousin to bring her boys to her. Great stopping point.
I don’t recommend this location at all, I go to it out of convenience to my job when I’m working near that location. I always mobile order at least 15 mins ahead of time with hopes that it will be ready when i get there, never is. And I mobile order just so I don’t have to deal with The lady that works the front register who is 99% of the time is the rudest individual I’ve ever met in my life. Today there was 15 employees working (keep in mind I’m in there enough to know who is new and in training and who isn’t) out of those 15 employees only 4 was actually working…. The rest was standing around laughing and gossiping while there was a lobby FULL of customers and the drive thru was wrapped all the way around the building and almost to the road…. Reasons like this is why I ALWAYS prefer the girls at the kanawha city location!
