Friendly staff, great pastries except those items I have had tend to be consistently a bit overly-sweetened for my taste. Still delicious.
We heard and read about this bakery and their famous "hot dog" donuts. Don't worry, no hot dog which I hate, just a fresh soft damn good donut with a whipped cream type filling. We come from an area that is known for mom n pop donut shops and have not found any to even compare with the donuts from our home town in the Midwest. Well... We finally found it. May be the best donuts we've ever had! Even my husband who is not a sweets eater loved them. The freshness level is beyond crazy, melt in your mouth fresh! We tried a variety of a couple options, as you see in the picture, and I can truly say each was just as good as the one before. Wishing we bought more but thankful we didn't because we would have shoveled it all down! Well done Spring Hill Pastry, you went above my expectations and standards for a great donut. Also- If there is a line to order don't worry- it goes fast but even if it didn't it's worth the wait!
I usually add pictures to my reviews but unfortunately this time I did not, I just dove in ?? I will say that the pictures you see on thier photos are truly to par. I have copied a picture here to show that they truly look as they do in this photo. The beautiful pastries you see with chocolate drizzeled on them are called Dogs I do believe and they are to die for and I prefer the ones without the chocolate but both were great to eat. We also tried the canolas and it was like eating a cloud it was so soft. We have never ate anything so soft and so delicious at the same time when it comes to bakery. The only upsetting thing is....wait for it...........thier not at my hometown. Please give Spring Hill Pastery Shop your business when visiting Charleston or hey just jump off the interstate and grab some for your trip, you will not be disappointed I promise you. Thank you Spring Hill Pastry Shop for such beautiful and delicious pastries and I would recommend for my own guilty pleasure that you add a Shop in Roanoke va. Thank you and God Bless!!
Brooke is hands down the best- beautiful cake for my dads 91st birthday. Spring Hill Pastry is always top notch and you cant ask for better service! Dont go anywhere else!!!
My daughter had her birthday cake from here I can not say enough how wonderful it was. Taste was awesome and they nailed the LOL decoration she was so pleased. Would always recommend Spring Hill pastry!! Best in the Valley
The cake they made for my mothers 90th birthday was a masterpiece! She has Alzheimer’s and I wanted something bright that would catch her attention and it did. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, it tasted as good as it looked. Thank you for making her birthday so special.

Excellent selection of high quality unique bakery pastries, cookies, cakes, pies, etc. My son loves snowballs but everyone makes them with chocolate and he hates chocolate. They customize items like eclairs for those who do not like chocolate. The eclairs and cream puffs are filled with a lovely custard pudding; filled completely not like so many places that put a tablespoon of cheap pudding in their products. Items are fresh daily, placing orders is easy. Great place
