We did pick up as we stopped in Charleston for an overnight. I went to pickup the food which was definitely overpriced- after driving all day. The host at the front desk didn’t seem to want to be bothered by me -it was a weird awkward situation. Then a girl came up who had taken my order on the phone -she was very nice and polite. I got my food and paid, then when I got to my car I had luckily realized that I was missing a large chef salad I had ordered. So I went back and told them and they said it would be a minute -it was like 10 minutes. The same host seemed annoyed with me for coming back. Then the girls that were working were peeking out behind a divider wall and giggling it was very weird. I got the salad and left. When I got the food it was for myself, my wife and children. The sauce they used wasn’t good per my kids and wife, it was chunky and weird. I had the Cajun shrimp pasta which was amazing. Overall the experience was weird to say the least.

This was a lunch staple for me when I lived local. A great environment to enjoy a meal. They have many tasty items. I highly recommend this place for a lunch or dinner!!

We were 2 NYers returning from a long road trip thru the South and craving some Italian food. Soho delivered big time! We ordered lots of food and it was so good that we took it back to our hotel and ate it cold the next day on the road. The polenta 'appetizer' was huge - I ate half as a dinner. The green bean side was good but the spinach was fantastic. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs with puttanesca - it was more of a fra diavalo spicy sauce than puttanesca but he ate all of the large dish and 2 of the 3 large meatballs. We got an excellent bottle of wine for only $24 and the waitress packaged up the remainder to take with legally. Also nice side salads with gorgonzola, only $4! Waitress was excellent - attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Wish we lived closer!

The food was really good but the special had way too much sauce on it. I can't remember the name, but it had a delicious Asian chili sauce on top. It may have tasted good, but there is such thing as too much sauce. My pasta was drowning in it. I had to send it back because it was overwhelming. Everything else tasted good, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. I will be going back.

We were disappointed. The menu is cleverly written and you imagine you will be delivered a delightful dish, what is delivered is fast food.Too expensive for the meal.Good point: our server was excellent.

If you missed out on coming here during Charleston’s Restaurant week, you better hope that next year they have the same thing on the menu! The appetizer’s were good but the steak/scallop/shrimp entrée was absolutely perfect! I have only had one steak that was more tender and that was prime rib in Vegas. The desserts were equally delicious. And a special shout out to our server, Meagan who was very attentive to our party (never a dry glass on the table!).

I had meatballs as an app along with a caprese sandwich with eggplant. Both were excellent. I left my wallet at our table only to realize about 6 hours later and a couple 100 miles down the road that I had lost it. I called them after closing hours and left a message only to receive a call back about 10:00 at night saying they had it. They offered to ship it to me without me without any request for payment. I call that above and beyond and am very grateful. But know that the food was excellent and authentic Italian. We sat outside in a very comfortable space.

I dont review often, but I was extremely disappointed with my meal tonight. Yes I know ordered through door dash but it was picked up and delivered very quick. The pizza was still warm, and definitely not worth the $18 price tag. It was just ok at best. The part I was most excited about was the bread pudding. That is one of my favorite deserts. If I could give negative stars I would. The white chocolate (or what ever it was suppose to be) was lumpy and not very edible. The bread pudding was stale disgusting and went in the trash after 1 bite. It has been years since I ate at Soho and I promise it will be even longer this time.

The restaurant was recommended to us. The food was excellent but the service was even better. Our waitress was a hard working, attentive gal. She was friendly and kind.

If I could give more than 5 stars I could. My party of 7 came here for an alternative rehearsal dinner for extended family and we could not have been more happier with the meal and service. When we got there our table was ready and the staff treated us like VIP's from start to finish. Either the manager or owner (unsure of which) came to our table a few times to make sure everything was still good. Our server was also very good. The food tasted fantastic from the bread to the main meal...we skipped dessert since the amount of food you get with the entree is a lot! The worst part is we live too far away to come back here for more often!!!
