We made an impromptu stop here for bbq and were glad we did. The brisket was tender, juicy amd full of smokey good flavor, as was the pulled pork and pulled chicken. They had a large assortment of sauces to top off the meat.. the fiery sweet was my favorite. They also had a good assortment of sides and choices for non bbq loving kids. (Hot dogs,pepperoni rolls) To top off the great food.... they were super fast.Edited to add: after I did this review I realized I had left my purse. They had already closed but the staff was so helpful to get it back to me, as I was from out of town. THANK YOU.
While passing by, we stopped for lunch. I had the small sampler and my husband had a big sampler. What a waste of money. Not only that everything taste the same,but it's taste less, unkooked and missing spices or at least meats should be marinated. Brisket really hard, ribs should be falling off the bone, unfortunately it was an opposite.
They have literally the best BBQ I've ever had in my life. I got the sampler, and inhaled everything! Definitely bringing everyone here ?

I ordered potato salad. When I got home with my dinner I opened the box and took a bite of the so called potato salad. It turned out to be half boiled potatoes with no seasoning. A salad it was not. Nothing but hard potatoes with some white cream on them. Nothing about it was a salad. No flavor. Nothing in it?? The baked beans were dried out and came directly out of a can. I am disappointed. My partner had a pork sandwich and it was ok. I will say the ribs were awesome and cooked perfect.? I'm sorry to leave this bad review, we have eaten here three times hoping the food would get better. Guess not.

Rollin Smoke is one of our favorite spots in Charleston! The food is delicious and consistent, at a great price. The employees are always very kind and personable. The restaurant is really cool too. All around a great place.
Easily the worst brisket I have ever had. It was really tough and fatty. I threw most of it in the trash. I eat a lot of brisket and they should be ashamed to sell something this unappetizing and disgusting. Especially for the high price they charge for substandard meat.
Rollin Smoke BBQ in Big Chimney has some really great tacos. Today I tried both the pulled pork and chicken tacos. The tortillas were soft and very filling. They have a special creamy salsa like sauce on them that just blends all the flavors together. The meat was flavorful and tender; both meats are great choices for tacos. Plus, two tacos are only $5!
