Overall, our visit was pleasant. Our waitress was very nice and attentive though she was the only one. The only thing I didn't like is everything came out at one time. We didn't have time to enjoy our appetizers before the pizzas were there. Again, it was pleasant and the food was good. Timing of food delivery and more wait staff would nice though.
Online information needs to be updated. After a full day of traveling, we pulled in to get a pizza. According to the online information, they are open until 10:00pm. Not this one! It was around 9:30, and they were closed. Nothing on the door confirmed their hours and we could see the workers still inside. We had initially tried to order from the app, so it was ready when we got there. That wasn’t working for us either and no one would answer the phone when we tried to call. We recommend Arby’s instead! Good food and great service!!!
The staff was pretty great. They only had one server working the whole dining room during lunch and she really did her best and was very pleasant and friendly. Pizza Hut has stripped their menu bare. It's definitely not even a shadow of the place we all know and loved from our youth that's for sure. Everything that was wrong was a regional/ corporate issue. Everybody that was right was 100% the credit of the crew working that day.
Pizza was good service was horrible. Server kept complaining about being only server. And not once did she ask if we needed refill or if every thing was fine.
They fixed both pizzas the way we requested and both pizzas tasted very good. They were hot and ready when we arrived to pick them up.
My order was placed and paid for through the online application. I received a phone call approximately 10 minutes later. The worker told me they were completely out of the pizza I requested (big dinner box). I asked if I could have the pizzas replaced with a different style of pizza. She told me I could not. I had to order a different pizza. I ended up getting HALF the amount of food for the same price. I asked if there were any coupons or anything that could help with the cost considering I was only getting 2 pizzas and an order of cheese sticks for over $40.00! The price was absolutely ridiculous. I could have easily gotten 2 pizzas and cheese sticks for a fraction of the price at a different pizza location. I will not go back unless something changes.
I got a large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and an order of cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls are one of the tastiest pastries you can find. The pizza was a little dry. I would call it average in taste. My wife commented that there are better pizzas available.
I will NEVER recommend Pizza Hut, especially after NOT closing when the weather is this bad, we already have four inches. I’ve heard about the delivery drivers sliding all over the roads, I’ve heard about people still wanting food delivered, why? Because they have no concern for the person delivering their food, they care about grilling up their fat butts. It’s not fair, it’s not right. Pizza Hut nor anyone else should be able to have ANYONE risk their life’s to deliver some half assed pizza anyway. And for anyone ordering pizza still, what the hell is wrong with you? You don’t know how to cook? Buy groceries, have food prepared? You are not only risking YOUR life but someone else’s when you get onto the road in these dangerous conditions. Have some common sense people, and Pizza Hut do BETTER!
I wouldn't recommend to eat at this place at all. Last night I had a hair in my pizza. Manager comes out looks at it over my other food, drink's said it's a fuz ball. Umm no I know a hair when I see one! My sauce too my bread sticks was cold & I asked two different times for it to be warm & both times given to me cold. Never again will I eat at kanawha city Pizza hut!
