Drove 5 hours, this was first on our long list of must try restaurants. Servers and management apparently couldn’t get their acts together so they just closed. The street was closed with a tent, outside dinning and inside dinning, nope we can’t handle the customers wanting pizza and beer so let’s just close. 100’s of customers approached and faced the same, sorry we are not able to do our job tonight so we decided to close. Meanwhile Adelphia Bar & Grille next door had an entire restaurant and 10 tables outside all full, and only 4 servers. The did their job, served us beer and with a kind apology stated it would be a bit of a wait. We had a blast, a great meal and all are happy. The city of Charleston, WV should know that Their shutting down the streets for tents and exterior seating for the summer isn’t being used or appreciated by Pies & Pints. Folks we all know post-Covid has changed the US workforce drastically. With that said people folding under the pressure of service pizza and beer has reached an all time high. Again Pizza and Beer! Come on Pies and Pints! #NOMODOUGH lol They won’t be getting my dough $$$$ period. Thanks again Adelphia!

Another dependable and delicious establishment of pies and pints! Quick, friendly service, good beer and delicious pizza all added up to a great dining experience! The only disappointment was they didn't have the home made blue cheese some others do. But the gorgonzola was just about as good with their excellent wings! Definitely a staple, would recommend.

Its great. We eat chicken wings, nachos, mushroom and chipotle chicken pizzas ?. Wings had a smoky flavor, liked it. Loved nachos ? Mushroom pizza was great but chicken pizza was just ok. Dry and normally big pieces of chicken, not properly blended with pizza.Hospitality was great. I loved the way waiters were taking care of the customers.Good for groups too, we were 7.Definitely a place to try. $$ restaurant

Quick summary: excellent pizza from a wood-fired oven. Lots of choices. Good beer and wine options. Friendly, professional service. We stayed in Charleston for one night on a driving trip. It was Sunday night, not much open near our downtown hotel, but the young man at the hotel desk recommended this place. It was a good choice. First, there is a wood-fored oven that turns out wonderful pizzas. Second, there are many options - red or "white" (garlic and oil) pizzas, and add your toppings from a very wide array. There are also combo suggestions on the menu. Pizzas come in 10" and 14". We first started by sharing a "small" salad of arugula with goat cheese, apples, nuts, and dried cranberries. Delish - and the small size was easily shareable! Very farm-to-table quality. We ordered the white pizza with various veggies and capacolla on it. 'Also delish, and well-prepared from the wood-fired oven. Nice range of beers for the DBH (Dear Beloved Husband) and wines for me ($8 for a nice pour of the house cab.) Dessert is cheesecake or some other rather heavy cake/pie. It seems a bit much after pizza, but you decide. Friendly, professional service. There are outside tables on a relatively quiet street, as well as a warren of rooms and the bar for dining inside. Noise level is acceptable - not quiet, but not obnoxiously loud when we were there. Frankly, I sooooo wish we lived closer to this place. It would be a favorite for pizza for dine-in or takeout, but alas, we do not live in the area.

Had a fabulous Mothers Day Brunch here! They had a phenomenal Brunch Pizza on special that would could not pass up and it didn’t disappoint at all! We started with the char-grilled wings and they were amazing! Every person on staff that we encountered were so friendly and could tell that they truly wanted and loved what they do! They were quick to let ya know if something was taking a couples mins longer (and it didn’t even seem like it was taking long at all anyways!). We finished off our meal with a slice of cheesecake with raspberry drizzle, it was so creamy and delectable! Our server was Kennedy and she was fabulous as well! Will def return on our next trip!

Amazing wait staff, great beer, delicious food!!

We got the potatoes pizza appetizers. Also the wings. Both were great! Also got a pine &swine/classic pizza. Service and food were great

Great pizza with delicious non traditional flavor options! In addition to conventional as well. I'll be back!

The pizza and nachos were amazing and the staff was wonderful, we were even seated 20+ minutes early. Everyone I've spoken with in Charleston has told me to come try this spot and I was not disappointed at all.I'd highly recommend giving this place a shot and definitely go for the half and half specialty pizza options to maximize all those options.

First time here after many people told us it was worth a visit. We waited 25 mins on a late Sunday afternoon. We got the nachos and a half and half pizza, one half chipotle chicken the other steak and mushroom. The pizza was great, crust with fluffy and flavors balanced really well, the steak was even cooked medium well and in large pieces which added to taste and presentation. Nachos were good but probably wouldn't order again, sauce wasn't our favorite and the shredded cheese ended up cooling pretty fast and creating one giant blob if toppings. For the size of the portions the price seemed reasonable but on the higher end. Service was friendly. Found parking at Charleston City Parking garage on Dickenson street (free on weekends).
