I ordered $61 worth of food it was an hour and 40 minutes late not Uber drivers fault. The two baked potatoes weren't even cooked, you couldn't jab a fork into them, and the items that were supposed to be hot or cold and the cold items were hot. Been 10 years since I've eaten at O'Charley's, it will be another 10 years before I try it again very disappointed.I went from a one star to a four-star even with all the mess ups after the manager Tom called and heard and understood my complaints. He's a very nice guy I'm sure he's going to take care of the issues and I will try O'Charley's again and post back.
Ate there last night with my wife. Disappointing. Table not properly cleaned. Window blinds were absolutely filthy. Place was dirty in general. Wife’s salad was not fresh, brownish in color. Did not have blue cheese chunks as requested. My chicken strips were rubbery. Potatoes had no flavor. Won’t be returning.
Our first time here. We were seater almost immediately. Wasn't long till our orders were taken. The one problem was, they tried to seat six adults an infant and toddler in a booth. This was quickly remedied. Once our order was taken it took quite a while to come. Once it was there, it was great! We all pretty much had something different. From steaks, ribs, seafood and chicken. All was great! This is a good place for folks who cannot agree on what to eat. Ocharleys has something for all of our tastes. The prices weren't bad either.
First and last time trying this place. Was greeted by our waitress who reeked of cigarette smoke. Ordered an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip. Was told it was “coming out now” just to be told a minute later they were out of it. Waitress comes back to say that they just made some up and asked if we still wanted some. I said no since our food should have been out any minute, yet she misunderstood and brought it out anyways. Asked for salsa-extra salsa, and I get a tiny cup. Ordered the Fish and Chips which says on the description “ a GENEROUS portion of hand battered fish” and this is what I received. Table in front of us had issues as well and had to get the manager involved.
Unfortunately this last time was not the best experience. The chicken was dry and tough and the loaded baked potato had sour cream on it, after I had asked for it off when I ordered. It seemed that it was understaffed that night, but that is no excuse for food that you can't eat.
It's okay, the service was great. Amanda was our sever she kept drinks topped and checked on us a good bit. Food was average. Grilled shrimp pasta tasted like something out of a microwave, Crab cake we didn't even bother to finish, and I had to send a steak back because the chef didn't cook it enough. Three stars is what Id give.
This was the second time I had been here. There was a wait time of 25 to 30 minutes. So we went to the bar. We ordered 2 pina colada and a banana daiquiri and a Budweiser. The drink where horrible. The bar tender has no idea what she was doing. Our drinks were awful. After we finally got seated and ordered our food. It took forever to for us to receive our food. Our food wasn't much better. So needless to say this will be the last time I return to this restaurant.
There was a wait but there was nobody at the bar so I ask if we could go to the bar he said well all these other people should have first dibs so I wait 5 more minute and he's just standing there so I go ask him are you going to ask them. Well he just stared at me so I left and went to Logan's roadhouse which was even busier and got to go straight to the bar. After looking at the reviews I am so glad he did not let me go to the bar.
We arrived close to closing time , the staff treated us great. We sat in the bar section, The bartender Ashley S, was our waitress, she was amazing!! The food was excellent!!Highly recommend O’Charley”s Restaurant & Bar South Charleston,WV !!!
Ewww. Just don’t. Save your money. Better restaurants in the area. Nothing here is good.
