Upon my request it would be appreciated if they could split my order into 2 deferent bags that way it would be easier to carry and handle.instead they stuffed my order of a large crispy chicken, a quart of beef fried rice, side of red sauce, pint of white rice and 6 egg rolls into a small bag anyways .after I gave up on an extra bag I asked for some soy sauce they employee grabs a hand full and tosses into bag rudely saying anything else..as I was leaving the bag gives out Infront of the door..anyways they come never asking me what happened or giving an apology as to them refusing to split the order up I received help from a fellow customer who I am grateful for her help and the wet cloth she gave me to wipe my self off.as blessed me as she left and I blessed her and thanked her which is more then I gotten from any employee .. horrible experience I ever received as a returning customer..
This is the best Chinese place in Charleston you cannot beat the food or price. The food is always fresh and great location.
Crab Rangoons are the best in town from here oh my and there soups the chicken noodle is wonderful and the eggdrop soup is so full of flavor they come in reclosable containers and they keep in the refrigerator for a week this is my go to place fore these items
2 orders of egg drop soup hotter than imaginable but still hot when got home tasted amazing.
The food is good but the people are not very friendly. So that's why I'm scoring them low.
Had the General Tso's Tofu and Hot & Sour soup Thursday.I was BLOWN AWAY by the General Tso's Tofu, it was crispy and flavorful!!??????The Hot & Sour soup was flavorful and delicious!This was my first time back in 3 years and I'll be back more often! The customer service, food and portions were GR8!! Thank you Main Kwong for a PERFECT meal!!
The best takeout Chinese restaurant in town. Good variety, good portions, good price - considering that for the portions you're probably ordering for more than 1 or 2 people. There's been no dine-in service for the last year and a 1/2, due to pandemic, so they're mostly take out, but they're very attentive on that, they've probably decided that's their main business anyway. If you want dine-in/buffets for that experience there's others for that.
Always had good and speedy service. I just wish they accepted credit cards for delivery. I had to order elsewhere multiple time before because I don’t always have cash on me. I love Main Kwong coconut chicken and when I don’t have cash, I can’t get it. I hope they change that soon.
One of my all time favorite places. The only thing better than the food is the service. I've enjoyed lunch and dinners from here for more than 20 years.
I miss the lady that ran this place. General tso either shrimp fried rice was above average. Egg rolls was on ?.
