I have driven past this restaurant at least 5-6x week for several years, and just presumed that it was shut down. But a friend took me here, and I was delightfully surprised! The service was excellent, prices decent (everywhere prices are getting higher, but here seemed comparable or perhaps even a little less than other restaurants), the portions were enormous! (Yay for leftovers!!), the atmosphere was quite pleasant, and the food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely return, and recommend to friends & family!!

Very disappointingUsed to be my favCheese dip was wateryChips stalePlate was obviously put in oven turning my lettuce tomato and sour cream funkyForty five dollars wastedReply: our server could not understand us...

We waited 10 minutes for water and someone to come take our drink order, and only got service because the person I was with had to go get someone. The waiters got people on either side of me drinks, saw me, and just kept going. I ordered the taco salad and it was like soup. Unbelievably rude staff. And I told my person I refuses to come back it was so bad. Usually I give places 2 chances, but this place totally blew it.

Best Mexican food this side of Texas! Nice decor... friendly staff... lightning fast service! Burrito Califonia (steak) was outstanding! Steak was tender and delicious by itself... and my friends Taco Salad bowl (chicken) was a big hit... will definitely be back soon!

Staff is extremely rude. One gentleman in particular, every time we come in, has an issue with us. This last visit, he was caught talking about us to other staff; drinks were weak, and did not bring chips n salsa. I went to ask for a menu and he asked if we were ordering to go. I asked for a stronger drink and he brought it to me and spilled it. He was going to turn and leave, without offering and napkins or an apology or anything. When food arrived, no silverware was provided. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, where you are appreciated.

So, we were traveling in from out of town and decided we wanted to eat (via takeout) from a "non chain like" restaurant. Menu looked great and it was great that they use latex-free gloves in the kitchen! We ordered, was told about 15 minutes for it to be ready. When I got there, there were several order tickets on the bar counter along with a few plastic sacks of orders ready for pickup. A gal asked for the name and gave me the ticket to go pay. I paid, asking the gentleman at the front counter if the bag that was sitting there on our ticket was ours or not and he kinda shrugged and said that we would be fine. So, I took that bag and returned to the Hotel. Back at the Hotel, opened up the food and it was NOT our order. Called the restaurant back and the gal said that yeah, we took the wrong food and that our order was just being bagged up. So, I returned to the restaurant to get the correct order. They wanted to know where the food was that we took the first time. I said that I left at our Hotel in the garbage since I knew they couldn't give it back out anyway. They told me I had to return the incorrect food to get my correct order! Absolute crap. I was not going to make a 3rd trip to this place. I told them to send a Doordash delivery driver to come get it from the hotel if they really wanted it back. They were very argumentative and rude. Once we got the correct food back to our Hotel, it was cold already. The salsa is some of the worst salsa I have ever had from a Mexican restaurant. The beef enchilada was so over seasoned it was uneditable. Next time I am through Charleston, this will be the LAST PLACE that I order food from.

My favorite. So nice and sweet waiters. Food is good. Drinks are good. Great service always. Inside is beautiful.

The server, who ended up being at the register, couldn't speak English when we asked to speak with a manager about the poor service and the quality of the food received. He spoke perfect English with the larger party seated next to us???We received glasses with unsalted rims after ordering top shelf pitcher of margaritas? My friend, who speaks Spanish, placed part of the order in their language. The food was not prepared as ordered and the quality wasn't up to par.We spent over $60. I won't spend another dollar with this establishment. A huge disappointment, especially after the excellent service received on previous visits with Maria. ?

Great food. Great service. Great house made hot sauce. It really makes the meal. Reasonable prices.
