The food was cooked perfectly. This place was also one of the few places still open at 2200 on a Tuesday. Lastly, the staff was unnecessarily kind. We were looking for a place to buy some snacks before we crashed for the night (on a road trip going across the country.) The staff not only recommended places that might still be open but they even called a few of the places to check for us. I would highly recommend this place.
Went there because on TV he said it was a steelers gathering place and there was nothing really there About the steelers and I and I ordered a traditional traditional philly state sandwich didn't have any pepper on it and when I commented on it I get told oh we're out of it but they put it on the menu that way. Calling it a traditional silly cheese It was a disappointing experience and would not go back
A bar guys bar. If your looking for a local bar, go talk to Joe. This is a bar you can pull up a stool and find friends right away. Joe came down and introduced himself. He did not have to but he did. Very friendly. Food is good, no disappointments. If you want fine dining, go someplace else but if a beer, burger and fun folks, stop by here

My husband and I discovered Big Joe's by chance. What a welcoming, congenial and wonderful place. The food is terrific, too! If we lived in Charleston, we'd be there every night. Barbara NYC
I usually trust ratings on google and yelp…. First and foremost this place is filthy.. I’m all for a good hole in the wall but this scrapes the bottom of the barrel.. We had called in an order which was supposed to be ready in 20 min by the time we got there it had been well past and then waited another 30.. Best wings in the valley.. if this is the case I feel bad for the folks that live in this area because these wings were below average at best. I’m from Cleveland where we have amazing food so maybe my standards are too high.. 4.5 is a stretch big time more like a 1.7 Also I need to just say again how filthy this place was..

Walking through the front door the smell of smokey bbq made my mouth water. We pulled up seats at a nice looking bar and a bartender helped us promptly. Sad to say, the bbq pulled pork sandwich did not taste as good as it smelled, bummer. It was a nice visit to the bar otherwise. Would try different menu item if I am back in the area.
