Exquisite art work, vibrant ambience, nice food court, family friendly, this place is definitely a nice stop on your way! Glass art, wood art, genuine stone and cloth art work, there are many things to add to your collection or to gift. The glass art classes are really good and they have a very friendly staff. Check out MeridethYoung.com Merideth’s hand made art work. She has some must have pieces and she is very Friendly. Overall, this is a beautiful stop if you are driving anywhere around!
This is a high tech artisans store in a beautiful round-about so it is impossible to get lost. Inside of the circle of art and crafts is an open air snack and sit down area. Outside are awesome sculptures, a music stage and playground for kids in addition to ample parking. But the main draw is the talent in the middle. Everything station is one-of-a-kind. There are amazing bowls and sculptures in wood, blown glass (You can make your own blown glass art.) Repurposed iron turned into tables and sculpture, pottery, musical instruments and so much more. If it's made in West Virginia and meets exacting standards it is at Tamarack.
Great place to stop and appreciate some unique art, shopping and eat great food!
Nice place to stop for a coffee and bathroom break. The center has gorgeous arts and crafts from West Va. well worth the detour.
This was an interesting stop on our vacation. We saw signs entering WV & while in Charleston so we decided to stop in. Not at all what we were expecting (I think we pictured something similar to an outlet mall), however it was a nice place to stretch our legs. As others mentioned, there's a lot of beautiful artwork & home goods. We picked up some local craft beer & enjoyed browsing the locally made products.
Good works deserves good recommendation, I appreciate the effort of Mrs Kimberly Louis for helping me managed my trading account. Profits are been made weekly as she promised, i invested $1000 and now making $11,200 weekly, All thanks to her, Send her a DM and thank me later
Excellent place to view and purchase local artisan wares. A must stop!
Interesting site, Easy to find. Unique pieces. The building is right off one of the major road and is easy to get to from the road. In fact it can be seen from several road. There are signs that lead to parking and there seems to be plenty of parking. This is like an art store, a glass factory and a business had a baby. It is an interesting store in many ways. Outside the round building has large triangular pieces that jut out from the building roof. It is surrounded by the Tamarack open air gallery. Inside the building is a circular design around an open atrium. The walkway is very pretty inside with beautiful art of all types. There is woodworking, painting, ceramics and food. It is all displayed in a vaulted room that has a lot of natural light around the central displays. The floor design is very pretty tile and carpet interspaced. We did not end up buying anything since the prices seemed high. This is a good place to see if you have never been to West VA as it has some art of local artists and a glass blowing furnace that was operating when we visited.
They sell many unique and high quality items from the best West Virginia residence have to offer. You'll find fine art, collectables, home decor, delicious food and beverages at reasonable prices. It's one of my favorite places to visit in West Virginia.
Excellent rainbow trout, with sauteed green beans and mushrooms, and butternut squash bisque at the restaurant. Wish I'd had more time to wander the galleries. Loved the inclusive dog bowls at the entrance!
