First time taking the folks. Used drive thru since it was so hot. They enjoyed the burgers and shakes but the fries were no good. Rubbery and dark in color like they sat for a little time. $30 plus for 3 people on cheeseburger French fries, and upgrade to medium shakes for drinks.

Waited a good few minutes at the intercom, even though there was only one car ahead of me. Could not locate my online order. Asked what I ordered. Asked me to pull up my app. All three visible employees turned their backs to the window and were wrapped in their own conversation. No one came back to the window to offer to make my order. I finally just pulled away. We love Sonic's burgers and drinks. One Sonic location has failed in our town. This one is right off the interstate. It's not going to make it either. This is the first negative review I've ever written.

I won't go back after tonight. I've worked multiple jobs where I'm regularly cursed and yelled at for something that's not my fault so I really try to be a kind and considerate customer. I can count on one hand the number of times I've filed a complaint on a business. But there was no excuse for the awful service tonight. The girl was immediately rude the moment I started to place my order. She audibly sighed multiple times as if taking my order was an inconvenience. I placed a simple order for a combo and an extra side and asked to pick up my friend's already paid for small online order. I remained patient with the girl even though she was rude the whole time because she seemed to be struggling. A male interrupted asking my order so I repeated it a 2nd time. And then the girl, still rude and sighing, had me repeat my order a 3rd time. I went to pay but nothing appeared on the screen so I assumed there was a technical issue and I would pay when they delivered the food. It turns out they had rang up the order at at an entirely different spot. The girl who took my order comes out with some food and asks me in an annoyed tone if it's mine. I told her no and she rolled her eyes and walked off. The guy was out there with my order and almost walked away until my friend waved him down. He took my payment and said he'd be back with a straw. I tried to tell him I didn't need one but I had something to say and he ignored me and walked off, repeating that he would get me a straw. I said again that I didn't need one but I had something to say. I started to tell him about the issues I had and he kept trying to leave. His only excuse for the girl being rude was that she was new and they were about to be really busy. I saw 2 or 3 other cars the whole time I was there and it was 10:30 at night. Not once did I raise my voice or get disrespectful with any of the staff yet I never got an apology and the service was nothing but terrible. You're better off going to literally any other restaurant in Beckley.

We've tried this twice now and both times it was horrible. Grease logged food order not right trying to order was a nightmare because he was too busy doing other things to take our order. I had to ask multiple times if he heard me or got what I said. Few times I had to ask several times in a row if he was still there. Ask for ketchup told it was in the bag it wasn't. Walked up to the kitchen doors and it looked like they had a food fight. Lettuce all over the floor theice cream machine looked like it exploded there was a puddle of ice cream in the floor in front of it the shield was covered in ice cream and it was running down the entire machine. If they don't get someone that can run it better it will go down hill fast! They need someone that actually listens to the order not just what they want to hear and show a little more professionalism because it was a total mess!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I have been to this Sonic 5 times since it opened, and every time I tell myself it’s the last time. Today it was the last time… They have messed up every order I’ve placed. And there is no way to contact a person without going back through the drive-thru, which takes forever. I tried calling and asking for a refund, and I had to call 10 times before someone answered. I usually let things go, but the consistency of this Sonic to mess up my order and then make it nearly impossible to get it corrected is a little to much.

Wait time was little longer then other fast food restaurants. Did not get any napkins, went back in to ask for some. Never did get anyone to respond to me. Went to bathroom and paper towel dispenser was empty but found a stack of random paper towels on the sink. Had to use those in place of napkins. Did not get my sonic mints like they used to give. My cherry limeade was delicious

Can’t park and order and eat. That’s the whole point of the sonic experience! No sign or anything to indicate they were only accepting drive through orders.

I’m so used to fast food places where I live messing up our order. I ordered online ahead and got our food, but I thought 2 things were missing. So I pressed the button to let them know. The manager came out and we figured it out. A bag was put in the back , our 3 kids were back there, and that’s where the items were. The manager was very nice and helpful! Also the food was great! Wish we had a sonic in Ohio where we live, 4 hours away.

I waited on my food for an hour, which the manager Anthony was taking the orders, and when I pushed the button again it was "Oh I'm so sorry we got so busy it's sitting right here we will bring it out." It was all wrong and cold by then. I took it inside and was like omg because he was cussing his employees with the awfulest language! There's no sense in talking to people that way! I would have walked out and left him to work alone! I WILL NOT ever go back there!

Ty at the window was awesome! Not only did he greet us upon taking my order but when we got to the window he also told us to make sure we come back. He was patient and we had told him it was our second time coming to Sonic so we're not too familiar with the menu I appreciate that. The food was all right could have been hotter as far as the burgers but no one was there so they may have been sitting just a little while but I will definitely be going back!
