I love their chips, queso, salsa... The new location is in the old Macadoo's building! While I do miss Macadoo's and the atmosphere, they had some of the coolest wall hangings I love the upstairs seating and balcony. The new remodel looks spectacular but they took the second floor completely out. They have some of the most beautiful hand made light fixtures in there and the light up wine rack is lovely. Everything is just decorated very well. Huge step up from the old Rancho Grande location.
Asked if lunch was still available and was told yes. My wife pointed her choice on the lunch menu and I told the waitress I wanted the same. We were served dinner portions which was $5 more for each dinner which was one taco more and rice each. My wife originally wanted chicken and we just gave up and accepted beef. When we checked out we told the man at the register and he used the computer as the excuse saying we ordered during lunch, but dinner time rolled over and it was dinner prices. He took a small % which reduced the bill by $6, but later discovered a checkout fee of $2.00. Who charges a checkout fee to a customer to take your payment? Food tasted good but I won't be going back. Plenty of other restaurants that don't try so hard to pad the bill.
We have went several different times at the old location maybe you just had a really bad staff day but it was not acceptable like not even minimallyElote was cold. And barely any spice. Salsa was meh.. lunch specials were adequate for the price. Rather disappointed probably will not be back for a long timeIf you like your Mexican food to taste like American food read this is meaning bland this is probably a great Mexican restaurant for youBut if you're used to really good well seasoned flavorful you can try someplace else.

My food was good. I'm hungry now I love to have some more. But I'm at work so I'll have to go some other time.
Food portion was a lot and very good!! Loved this place and recommend if you're in Beckley WV!

if i could give this place no stars i would i cam here with my mom ordered two soft tacos and when i opened it there was hair in it i told the lady she took it back brought me another was extremely rude about it when she brought me my other i didn’t finish all i could think about was hair when the manager cam he was extremely rude i’ve never met a manager so rude in my life and i will never be coming back or recommend this place anyone
Rancho Grande was good when it was beside Jean Ann’s but they have improved SO much since moving to their new location….easily one of my favorite Mexican places now! The decoration is so cool so it makes the atmosphere very nice for a sit down dinner. I got the nacho supreme my fiancé got a meal with a chimichanga and it was amazing! And their chicken wings…delicious. Will definitely be visiting often!
