i went there last week. first time. got just enough 'good' food to be worth the money. went there today and was trying to joke with the woman about how many choices there are and how many decisions there are to be made. she had zero sense of humor. she probably did not like my ponytail. i got about $5 worth of food for $10. i told several people about my positive experience there last week. i'll set them straight. i doubt if i ever go back. if anyone in management reads this, she was spooning out mediocre portions of rice (with not a very good attitude) today, june 10, 2022. i have never written one of these before. qdoba, you owe me $5.
My first experience with QDOBA in Beckley, West Virginia was pretty terrible. I was excited to try a new restaurant in the area, and put in an order online for curbside pickup at 11:20 am (i.e., not peak time). The site said the order would be ready between 11:30-11:40. I show up at 11:40 and call the restaurant as instructed in the confirmation email. The friendly woman on the other end said my order would be out shortly. Fifteen minutes later, I decide to get out, go inside and ask about my order. I couldn't get anyone's attention, but did see my order sitting on a rack labeled "Online Orders". I have no idea how long it was sitting there, but obviously, this isn't curbside delivery. I ordered curbside, because I'm currently in COVID-related quarantine, so I didn't appreciate being forced to go inside the store and put others at risk. If you don't really offer curbside pickup, just say so. Set your customers' expectations well, so they aren't disappointed. When I got home, the food was cold, and my daughter's order was incomplete (missing drink and cookie). I know good workers are hard to find these days, but dang. What a lousy first impression.
Not sure what to make of this place. I ordered a burrito. The ingredients looked fresh enough but walking into the place, we noticed that no one is taking care of the guest tables as most were dirty. At the same time, there was no lack of laughing and talking behind the counter. The workers have plenty of time to clean up this place but don't care to do it.
Food was exceptional! But dining room needed cleaning and tables wipes off. There was also inappropriate talking on the front counter and one gentleman was using profanity.
Fast service...didn't put as much items as most do. Taste good for what I received

Well, I’ve been wanting Qdoba for about 2 weeks and finally made it there tonight, only to be so disappointed that I’ll never go there again. The staff was milling about wiping down and cleaning behind the counter, while I stood there waiting for someone to take my order. I was the only person in line and waited approximately 5 minutes before I decided that the staff was not interested in taking my order or customer service, so I left. Three of the five staff members looked directly at me and none of them asked if I was ready to order, etc. I know good staff is hard to come by, but this was well below expectations.

Great place to Eat.This is one of the over 750 restaurants in the chain that is headquartered in San Diego, Ca. I have been to many of their locations in many different states. This one is located off the north side of WV 19 (aka N Eisenhower Drive). The road is a busy road but it is easy to get to this place. It is in a strip center behind a row of fast-food restaurants. It is located on the corner of the center closest to the road. There is plenty of parking in front of the location. This was our first visit to this location but it is very similar in style, quality, and service to their other restaurants. It is very similar to Chipotle in that you order at one side of a line and follow your meal through the line to completion adding items that you want as you move down the line. They serve bowls and burritos with beans, rice, and meats. Their ingredients are fresh and I have always gotten a good meal. This time was no exception. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean. I ordered a chicken bowl. The price was reasonable and it was prepared fresh. We chose to eat in the dining room. It was clean and light. I would recommend this location to my fellow travelers looking for a good meal in the area. Enjoy.
