Ok I was the first customer that day, and I was so surprised to see how dirty the place was. I told the lady that I was dining in, and she still brought my meal out to me in a box. I felt like a pig eatting in a trough. The food was so greasey, and it seems they cook everything in the same oil because it all had the same taste. At 1030 AM the floors, the tables, and the very nasty bathrooms should not be that dirty. "BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION!!!!!"
Their service is very poor..the fish was half cooked and the slaw was turning brown #SAD

The food was good, but I ordered a small green bean with my food, it was a 6 oz bowl with 1 oz of green beans , I was upset that I paid 1.99 for it ! The store was dirty, booth tore all up, windows were really dirty, yes it is very cold out, but you can tell they haven't been cleaned in a very long time ! The soda machine was so nasty, it had days old dried up splashes all over it , didn't look like it hD been cleaned in several days !
I love Captain Ds food. Always good food at a reasonable price. Best seafood for the money anywhere.

The shrimp was cooked too long and the huspuppies didn't really have any flavor but the catfish fillets was pretty good.
