My hubby and I went out on a date night tonight. We were seated immediately, everyone was friendly,...we received great service and the food was delicious. ??

everything was so amazing. we had the coconut prawns to start and peppercorn ribeye. steak was delish and cooked perfect! attentive staff and great atmosphere
beef stroganoff was $26 and it was OK.YSC is the kind of place where cowpeople can really don their new hats and bandanas.YSC is the kind of place where folks are still comparing Covid-19 to the cold (Feb. 2022) — 900k deceased americans would tend disagree.YSC is the kind of place where i personally worry about their liquor license taken away due to their 4 oz pours (thank you, btw)all that being said, the place was PUMPING on a thursday night and there wasn’t an open seat in the house.i haven’t been to YSC since that last time a 60+ yo invited me out to dinner and i don’t remember it being particularly memorable then. i guess the best memories are the friendships we make along the way…it is likely i will be back again for another party with which i have no say in planning but i will look forward to the friendly staff. that’s it. that’s literally all i will be looking forward to.

The first time we went there it was awesome the risotto was fabulous with scallops and my husband had a beautiful steak it was hot the appetizers were awesome. Then we went the last night and thank goodness we had a gift card because we spent $316 on food that was absolutely terrible, the risotto was just like Rice-A-Roni but cold, the butternut squash if you told me that's what it was there's no way I could have tasted any butternut squash in there the mushroom appetizers they were wet and runny, and I ordered my steak to have the Oscar there was a dab of sauce $16. I won't be going back there unless someone gives us a gift card again.
It's okay. We've had better meat. Baked potato toppings were so skimpy. Rissoto was terrible. Mac and cheese good. Nothing had much flavor. Very expensive.
You never know what you’re going to get! We’ve eaten here well over a dozen times in the last year. Inconsistent every time we go. We’re not ones to complain to them directly but I’m really getting frustrated, I hope they read this! Risotto, a bowl of dry, COLD sticky rice! Butternut squash was mixed with yesterday’s leftovers. Lobster on Valentines Day, one cooked just right the other way under cooked, brought it home and microwaved it! Steak is seasoned good but again, inconsistent. Ask for medium rare, one is well done and the other bloody rare. Smallest baked potato I’ve ever seen! I’ll come back cause sometimes it’s fantastic! Poor Quality Control! Get it together!

With only one day in Yakima I feel we made a good choice with the steak house. We are both vegetarians and one thing we know is that you can always get a good baked potato in a steak house.
