Don’t let this place catfish you. Looks very nice and well kept on the outside. Inside there is lots of spacious seating! Don’t get too excited though, the chairs and booths are extremely old and uncomfortable. We changed two different tables because they were very wobbly. We settled for the least wobbly we could find. We went to the buffet to see 4 small rows of options, with one being a salad bar and 3 rows of hot items. There was a small amount of choices (I would expect more choices for that lunch price $15 per person). Each item we ate was either extremely bland, or overcooked and dry. I have never in my life only wanted to eat 1 plate at a buffet and today it happened. I probably should not have used the restroom first either. It had a stale sewage smell, and the floors and walls were very gross and discolored. You’d think charging that much with their small selection that they would be investing their money into repairs, or upgrades. All in all, we will not be returning.
The little girl taking the register is incredibly rude and for someone like me who was hasn't come here in years (and especially hasn't eaten at a buffet since Covid first started), she expected me to know the proper procedure? And gave me the stink eye when she had to explain it to me. I don't know how old she is or if she's even LEGAL to work there, but I find it concerning. I hope to never see that child working as the host again or I'll report for child abuse. Lastly, the food is incredibly oily, it tasted like pure oil. I found old food smudges in supposedly 'clean' plates. They don't refill the hot water to clean the icecream scooper (grossly white and cold). The workers sit around, staring at us get our food and eat. WATCHED us get up and get more food, just to discard everything on the table. At that point, we just had to leave. So DISRESPECTFUL and GROSS. Remove that child from the register, if she can't even rub off that stink eye off her face, she shouldn't work there AT ALL. If she can't be a proper hostess, replace her. Don't just make her work there because she's family.-Score-•1/10 Customer Service•6/10 Food taste•5/10 Cleanness•And over all comfort 2/10Will not come back again and I suggest everyone who reads this to not come either.
The chicken fried rice seemed a little undercooked. The spring rolls were good. Overall decent but can use improvement.
My wife and I went to this place Sunday and found the food cold to medium warm. It's easy to see why they make you pay before trying their food. The employee's here are very unfriendly. We will not support a place like this !!!!
My husband and I got food from World Bistro and it was really good! Fresh, large servings, and really really tasty!!!
They accommodated a large family, and everyone seemed to find a kind of food they would eat (not only a lot of Chinese food, but fruit or simple green salad, chicken nuggets, and more). Price includes (soft) drink and simple desserts (e.g. little cakes, ice cream). Quality was above average for buffet.
Tonight I paid $37.00 and some change for some of the worst buffet food I have ever eaten! Granted buffet’s are not ment to serve gourmet cuisine. This food was limp, soggy, and everything from the salad to the rice tasted like fish. The lettuce was brown and the beets had sat so long they tasted of vinegar and sugar. I will not go back.
Food was great have to mask up and ware gloves but all and all was a great dinning experience
It was was so gross. I sent my son to ask for napkins and they were rude and said there should be some on the table obviously there wasn't that's why we were asking they didn't even help us, we had to grab it off another table. the lady sweeping by the food with an old broom, sweeping in a upward motion toward the food grossed me out. We left as soon as we saw that. Not much variety of food. It didn't taste good. My kids wouldn't even eat the pizza they said it was gross. I paid a lot of money and they just ate the jello. It was the only thing they liked. I couldn't eat, I kept trying to get another plate of something different, I didnt like any of it.
I went to eat there this evening and across from me I noticed this nice woman eating with her 2 boys. She had just got, what looked like her second plate, and was about to sit down when the younger boy tossed his cookies. She was so embarrassed and made an immediate effort to clean it and get the child out. As she is speaking with the proprietor I overhear her ask if she can take the food she just got with her. Generally you have to pay extra but in this circumstance I felt it was a situation where it could have been overlooked. The proprietor told her it would be extra and then the woman just left with her 2 boys. What did the proprietor expect the woman to do? Sit and finish their meal? There was very little professional courtesy, especially when the woman had presumably paid a substantial amount already for her meal and then had to rush out looking very embarrassed.
