While their staff is very friendly, DO NOT use their website to order if you only want certain ingredients on half a pizza. They misread the printout or there is a miscommunication between systems. I got four incorrect pizzas today and this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. The first time they fixed it in the pizzas they replaced. This time the manager told me that this is how it is interpreted and I wasn’t doing something right on the website. Based on what he described, saying an ingredients goes on one half means that you want extra of the ingredient on that half.
YOU CAN DEPEND ON WESTSIDE PIZZA!!! I recently found myself in the ER. My autistic son was home alone that night. I got online and ordered his dinner to be delivered via contactless delivery so as not to upset my son with a stranger at his door. I ordered his gluten free pizza and also a personal size one for me so I could eat when I got home. I gave him instructions that he could eat the "big" pizza but the "small" one would make him sick. Awhile later my son called me very confused. I was unable to figure out what had happened as I was still in the ER and in a lot of pain. I called Westside to ask them what was delivered but as the driver wasn't back yet they weren't sure either. I was quite distraught at this point, not knowing if I would be able to return home anytime soon and knowing my son was alone, hungry and upset. The manager on duty didn't hesitate, they made another gluten free pizza for my son and delivered it right away! I think I should add, this was a very busy Saturday night! This was a huge relief to me as I felt helpless in that moment and had no way of fixing the situation on my own!! When I returned home I realized that the first delivery consisted of our original order plus a large half and half pizza that we hadn't ordered. So the second GF pizza they delivered was a duplicate. I went in to the store on 72nd Ave and explained the situation and offered to pay for the second pizza and delivery as it was our mistake. The manager on duty refused to let me pay! One thing I learned is, I CAN COUNT ON WESTSIDE PIZZA, they went above and beyond to feed my son and alleviate my anxiety so I could concentrate on my health! They have deep dish style crust if you like that. Lots of toppings and cheese. Really good sauce.
I didn't eat here for a long time because the pizza wasn't good but I went last night for a birthday party and the pizza was delicious.
Food was great and even tho our pizza hit the floor (no fault of theirs ) they made us a new one! Great customer service ?
Pizza was excellent, driver forgot soda and drove to the closest store and got us one and brought it back. In the door dash world this doesn’t happen. New fav spot!
The gluten free crust here is really good! I actually called to confirm they had used a gluten free crust because it was that good!
We love death by pizza! It gets 5 stars always. We ordered it and got the free t shirt! We also ordered a grande build your own.. pepperoni sausage olives mushrooms... for $2 less than death by pizza I was expecting a similar amount of toppings at a price of $2.50/ topping I expected more and am disappointed.
Westside is my favorite pizza place hands down. But on top of that I was super impressed with the staff on 10/21/21.. i placed an order online for 2 larges and one was a half and half, they called me to double check the order and turned out i confused the toppings and placed an order for the exact toppings my daughter DIDNT want… instead of the ones she didn’t want… they got it all cleared up and made the correct pizzas for us! Nothing beats a westside pizza! ?
Consistent quality, prompt delivery and that Death by Pizza is top notch ?. I hate promotional marketing noise but Westside Pizza sends fun text promos and keeps me engaged, coming back for more Pizza, wings and salad. I'm hooked!
