Called prior, and asked what time they served prime rib, they stated 4pm on Fridays. We arrived a little after 4pm, there was one other car in the parking lot. They stated their prime rib wouldn't be ready for at the least another hour...after 5pm. Could of let that go. However, the man was so ill mannered about it. We were discussing what we were going to do. When he stated with a disrespectful attitude and tone, we have other steaks, and then walked away from us. Leaving us standing there??... We left, and went to Apple Tree, had a fantastic prime rib meal, we were treated with the up most respect, and our meal was completed by 5pm.
We finally got to go and have breakfast and it was Fantastic with great service. Staff are awesome. Will definitely go back for more and will take friends to share the great food.The best gizzards also.
It was a busy night and a new cook. Our first visit. Locals were catered to, I get it, they are their bread and butter. Took a long time for our order to be taken. Appetizer of nachos and our main courses delivered about 2 minutes apart. Food was good. I'd like to go back when it's not as busy to see if the service is a bit better.
The Rio burger was really good. Came with crispy fries. Staff was courteous and service was fast. Sunday 1:30pm

It was celebration dinner for my daughter. She needed to have a great day for her Birthday and she did. We all enjoyed our meals, four had steaks and one had chicken fried steak breakfast plate. Great service, wonderful evening.

Best prime rib I have had! The family and I went on Thanksgiving to break from cooking this year. Our reservation was right on time. The food was awesome. The service is awesome. And just the overall warm, inviting, comfortable feel reflected at The Lone Star made for a fantastic experience. The location comes across as a bit of a drive for this area but is not at all. Just a few minutes. Highly recommend visiting The Lone Star Ranch House.
