Good Thai food. Wasn't expecting much in Yakima but was surprised. Decent vegetarian options and they used fermented bean sauce not fish sauce. Not bad local and import beer selection too.
I believe take out should receive as much care and attention to detail as a dine in experience. We ordered 3 flavors stir fry, orange chicken, fried spring rolls and butterflies. The orange chicken was put in the same box as a salad that must have just gone for a swim and didn't dry off or spin out when it got out of the pool.(I only know this because we poured out almost 5 oz of mostly water with a hint of orange sauce from their shared container.) This caused the chicken to be well... not orange chicken at all because the salad felt it had to bathed the chicken as well. The spring rolls were sitting in a pool of oil but that was nothing compared to the butterflies. The butterflies were filled with grease (weighing them down from fight I'm sure) that poured out all over when you took your first bit. Absolutely disgusting!! We tried this restaurant because it had decent reviews. But that was sadly not our experience at all. The only thing that enjoyed our meal was the garbage can.
Shared the Butterflies which we requested to come before our meal. They were some of the best Butterflies we've tasted. My mother and I shared an order of Pad Thai while my spouse had the Orange Chicken with rice. Both dishes were good, but not great. The issue was the very, very long wait for lunch. We arrived just after noon and finished at 1:15 since it took a long time for our orders to be taken and for our orders to arrive. They do a lot of take-out which we felt slowed down the orders for the inhouse guests. Take out may be the better option if one has a limited amount of time.
I had dinner at Thai House on a Friday night, the place was not to busy and the food was good, but there may have been an issue with the kitchen ventilation. The place was really smokey and my clothes smelled like I had barbecued for hours when I got out. That and cold air coming from the vent right under the table made the experience rather bad.
They always have amazing food! I don't think I have ever been dissatisfied with a meal from here. That being said, it is a little spendy but worth every penny! The restaurant itself is clean and small and really comfortable and the staff are helpful and kind as well.
Their cashew chicken is amazing! Careful with spiciness when you order - I like spicy food, but even a 3 is pretty hot for me.
Great family oriented, great and and very attentive service, dinner pleased my craving for Thai cuisine, indeed I recommend and coming back eventually.
Love the authentic Thai food here so much!!
phenomenal service and delicious tom kha (soup szn, baby!!)
The best Thai cuisine in Yakima. A very nice menu that covers anything you may be in the mood for. The staff are very helpful if you've never had Thai. Very affordable menu.
