Love this place, nice to have some home made food.
We love this very authentic Mexican restaurant and go there frequently for lunch. We prefer a light lunch, so we each have two appetizers. I love the beef tongue taco and chicken tostada…beef tongue really! So good. My spouse has two tostada, adobada and carne asada. Many out of town musicians eat there every chance they get when in town. They have a good variety of burritos (very large).
A "platter" of tacos for $50. The food was what you would expect from a taco van/wagon. Nothing too fancy or extravagant. The flavor of the meat was satisfactory but a little on the dry side. The salsa wasn't extraordinary again, what you would expect. No chips, beans or rice. The cost was what I have issue with and will not be returning for a platter of tacos EVER! I cannot comment on any other portion of the menu since this was my first experience with this particular establishment
I always go there to get Menudo or Birria, great food but what makes things better is the fresh made Tortillas.
Great food, service, and price! Definitely recommend this authentic restaurant.
