(5 April 2022 - 4.5 Stars)This location has been open 4 years. I have not been here for 3.5 years - because I did not like the taste of the food (to spicy) or the service. This is the only Popeyes I have ever been to.Today, My father & I returned to this location to try an advertised special. In all the ways we both did not like this brand before (and often talked about those dislikes as we deprive by looking for a place to stop and eat lunch together) we were HAPPILY surprised by the "new" way we felt about the place.I was able to get mild chicken that was also very juicy (before dry and WAY OVER spiced.) The fries were fresh and crisp. Dad had the shrimp special, he enjoyed very much, the coleslaw was good as well. The staff we had interactions with were happy, friendly, accurate and fast.WE BOTH HAVE CHANGED OUR OPINION OF THIS BRAND TODAY, AND WILL ADD IT TO OUR PLACES TO GO.My only draw back is the lack of condiments for the meals. The advertisement showed Cocktail sauce for the shrimp special (as well as the mobile app), and the "picking slip" said it was on the tray for dine in. It was not. I saw two people come in from the drive thru with the same problem (no Cocktail sauce.) I heard the drive thru staff member say "if they do not ask for it, how am I supposed to know they want it".Also, no ketchup available to pick up in the lobby - for the fries. No butter in the lobby - for the biscuit either. You have to wait in line to request some from the cashier.I wish they would have asked / offered the Cocktail sauce, butter and ketchup when giving us our meal. Would have made things better.Will return
The service is always good, occasionally very busy. Don't need to come in and ask where my order is. If I'm parked, it's probably because they're cooking fresh chicken. I know restaurants stop making certain things closer to closing, because in the end it's about what they would be wasting when cooking for two people to order it. The sandwiches are always my go to, and the fries. But the tenders are also highly recommended. 10/10 recommend going.
Don't go after 7 p.m., they will claim to be out of everything because they are too lazy to cook up a fresh batch of anything you want. They tried to get me to accept spicy chicken because they were out of mild. I told them I would wait for a fresh batch of mild. You could see that they were mad about it.

The chicken was crispy and delicious. Mashed potatoes had gravy in the same container. The mac and cheese was cheesy gooey. Best we've ever had. Biscuits were warm, buttery and a bit of salt.
I normally don’t post reviews anywhere, especially negative ones. However the handful of times I’ve gone the only consistency is awful customer service. Today the Mac and cheese is notorious and the chicken sandwich I ordered has rock hard buns.
How many times do you have to wave at people to get them to acknowledge you?! I waved 3 times and made eye contact with people and they ignored me. Then a coworker came in to order food and they were chit chatting and still not paying attention to customers. Not only that but they cant seem to get orders right. I dont think I have ever gone to this place and everything was correct. Get it together....
Always good, great customer service but a lot of times a night, they are out of spicy chicken.
I usually don't write reviews on fast food restaurans but considering the fact , that times do get busy with )work and kids school life ) to have a home cooked meal , So recently we had went out on a quest to find some good chicken. Does KFC have anything that's good anymore worth serving ? The honest to truth answer is NO! Well at least the KFC off 40th and Summitview WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT... BUT NONETHELESS WE DO HAVE ..... POPEYES ? CHICKEN!!!!.... Even being at this establishment a handful of times and yes they do occasionally mess up our orders but even when they do , we seem not to get mad just for the fact the chicken there is tender and juicy both mild and spicy! 50% of the time they always throw in a few extra pieces in the family meals always a bonus , Even the classic chicken sandwich offers up a good tasting fulfilling meal not once have we had a dried sandwich from Popeyes , bring us to the sides the GRAVY AND MASH POTATOES on point especially how they layer the gravy through the potatoes (not like KFC lol) next the BISCUITS always rich full of butter flavor nice and warm (if you request fresh BISCUITS there Even better) Even the apple ? pies are beyond full of flavor .... Not so much healthy but oh so delicious. Even for how busy this place can get the employees do always work w positive attitudes especially the shift management who always correct there mistakes.... this is a great place to get a quick bite to eat!!! A solid 3 out of 5
