They have a nice menu with a lot of variety. The prices are average. My cheese steak sandwich came out hot and there was lots of filling, but if I had not ordered a side of mayo it would have been very very dry. Once I added the mayo it was pretty good. My wife enjoyed her meal and there were no problems. My meal was supposed to come with fries and they served it with potato chips instead. After waiting quite a while for a server, I finally got up and had to go across the restaurant to find out why I didn't get fries and to ask for a soda refill. The server had no clue as to what was supposed to come with the meal. I had to show her the menu to prove I was right. Apparently the cook had no clue either. They were going to charge me for the fries that were supposed to come with the meal so she had to go back and take it off my bill. A different server brought our food out and it wasn't until the end of the meal before we saw our server again. I had to get up to request napkins and soda refills. Lousy service and they were not very busy. A lot of the meals come with chips. The homemade potato chips are fresh, but totally unseasoned and very bland. My meal came with fries and slaw. The slaw is apparently just a garnish and is just shredded cabbage, no dressing of any type so be prepared, you are not getting a little side of coleslaw. We probably will not be back anytime soon. There are too many better places to eat at in the area.
On first hearing of Norm's, I thought of Cheers, but upon entering I was pleasantly surprised to see that Norm was a beloved Golden Retriever! Love the copper ceiling, dark wood furnishings and stone accents. Very cool and comfortable!After an appetizer of "Balls"(house-made meatballs in pesto cream), I ordered the their LITTLE SMOKEYS MAC ‘N’ CHEESE (little smokeys, cheddar, fontina), which is amazing, and nothing like what I served kids for years!Our server was attentive, helpful and down to earth. My daughter had a nice sized salad and tried some Mango Hard Cider, which I tried. I'm hooked... a wine drinker, typically, but for a summer day, this was a great option!We'll be back and I highly recommend you set aside sometime to dine at Norm's and bring your friends and family!
The food is amazing, the team is friendly and is genuinely interested in making sure you’re enjoying your visit. I’ve been twice and will visit again next time I’m in town for work!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now and I must admit I wasn't disappointed at all The establishment is very clean and laid-back type of setting to grab a drink and chill or get some AMAZING delicious food at Norms , when I first walked in I noticed the staff was in a great mood and smiling ? good vibes we decided to sit in the back and it was very clean and service was awsome NOW to the food! As i tend to do a bit judging (guilty) on menu's sizes if it and I WAS HAPPY to see there wasn't 3 pages or more indicating food is fresh and not frozen we started off w the hush puppies and they were cook to perfection not crispy on the outside and soft in the middle ...can't wait to try the scotch eggs next time! I decided to order the brisket Sammie and although the bread was a bit salty the brisket was also cooked amazingly what really set it off and balanced out the saltiness was the CHIP DIP lol this dip was so delicious I decided to put it on my Sandwich ? super tasty the home made chips were also on point ! My wife ordered the fried chicken Po boy and we split our lunch I also got to taste this sandwich OMGosh super delicious definitely a instant favorite to my list! I DEFINITELY will be going back to try out some more of there tasty choices of entrées! Services , Food ,and establishment a ALL AROUND GREAT EXPERIENCE here in Yakima! And to the owner of NORMS keep that food delicious yummm!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My husband and I went in for the first time today.. it only took them not even 20 min for them to give us our meals! The ladies were super sweet! I just left and already want to come back! Our waitress , I didn’t get her name but she has colored hair , she’s amazing , her vibe , everything was wonderful! Love her ! For anyone who’s iffy about trying this place out, Go for it! Highly recommend it! Their food 10/10!! We ordered so much but so worth it!
First time, service was amazing ? Hilary was such a sweetheart, totally recommend going. Best hamburger I've had.
Love the Cajun shrimp and grits! Never been a grits fan but will be a favorite anytime I'm at Norms! Prices are spot on, portions are perfect and service was prompt and courteous, was checked on and drink's stayed full. Establishment was clean, the building is a jewel, thank you Norms!
No consistency, makes me sad we spent money here this evening. The last time we went, a couple weeks back, we tried for the first time, the meatloaf, was great! Returned this evening for the same meal…the meat was oddly too sweet, can’t put my finger on it and the gravy was still coagulated like a true leftover and plopped on. At home, I know how to doctor my leftover gravy, but I’m thinking this was just shy of being too old, as the mushrooms were just mush. It came with notably over-charred brussel sprouts that we each ate one bite of. I usually like them, but my husband doesn’t, which is pretty typical when it comes to this veggie. Stick to green beans or broccoli, tried and true, or at least notify the customers before ordering. We also tried the scotch eggs, not bad, love the crunch, but for us, it was just boring. Pretty sure the staff could see the condition of our meal, without having to say anything, but I could also see they were hoping if they ran fast enough, we’d just eat it and pay our bill…just a gut feeling, this might be the norm for Norms. I really want to like this place, but we’ve had questionable issues, today and in the past with some possibly bad pork…all while I’m sitting here again, trying to decide if my stomach is feeling scary funky or just on the verge of funky. I give it two starts only cause the ONE waitress we had was nice. Food was over hyped, and the rest of the waitresses will talk about you oh and the other customers are racist.So if your black which I am you will feel uncomfortable not only by the staff but the customers.
