This place needs better service. Plus not to mention it's right below cascade apartments which is infested with roaches so chances are this place is too. I always go to c and s coffee house it's way better
First time there. Love the coffee and atmosphere. Will go more regularly.
Very cool custom roasted coffee here in downtown historic District the very interesting rustic interior which apparently used to be the old hotel. I got a good pour over Colombian drip coffee and if you’re in Yakima I’m looking for people who know how to do their coffee then this is the place to come.
On the expensive side for coffee but quality. A great atmosphere for conversation or computer work other than the chairs downstairs being uncomfortable. Make sure you buy something or they will ask you to leave.
At Mak Daddy the vibe is real, from fun, quirky architectural elements with an open view of the surrounding downtown, their friendly staff, locally sourced coffee and fabulous tea selection—-what more could you ask for? I’ll tell you what—their Bougie avocado toast—that’s what! This stuff is literally enough to cure the world’s sadness—-thank you Mak Daddy for being awesome!
Great spot, really glad I found it. Would absolutely frequent this place every single day if I lived close enough. Clean, inviting, safe. Decent prices as well.Wish every city in America had spots like this.I will definitely come here again.
Kind of a cool place but way overpriced for the food. $8.50 for a apple and spinach salad which was the size of a dinner salad and no meat. And $3.50 for an ice tea. Nothing special about any of it. Also, personal preference, but I hate menu boards hand written in chalk all cramped together - nearly impossible to read. Oh, and in case you might be concerned, none of the employees wear masks at all.
Good coffee, nice atmosphere. I think their prices are a little high compared to other coffee shops I go to but I appreciate their creativity.
Five stars for not wearing masks. Went to a shop down the street and they wanted me to wear a mask. Walked out and gave Mak Daddy my business. Great coffee and atmosphere too.
Hmmmnnn. Too bad. I really liked going to this place. Too pricey IMO but I “liked” the atmosphere. Today was awful. Barista’s treated me like a street walker and laughed off my questions about points. I did speak with the owner and he laughed me off and stated that he would talk with them.I didn’t finish my coffee, for as the saying goes, “the taste of the roast depends on the handshake of the host”.There are far too many coffee shops in Yakima to be treated the way I was. Take your chances.
