Extremely tasty carne asada “big burrito.” The steak was char-grilled and very flavorful. Also filled with delicious Spanish rice and beans. Seriously one of the best burritos I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten a few in my day. Fast friendly service possibly from the Mercedes Kid himself.
fun lunch spot in down town.the real rockstar here is the hot cheeto burrito. the torta i got was p dry and p uninspired. we also got the fries which require a fork.truth be told, i’d get the torta again, but i’d ask to have it zhooshed up. The torta itself is a roll with some guacamole spread, lettuce, and carne asada bits. it’s good, but the burrito is next level.absolutely worth checking out.
This is a delicious quick stop right off the Ave. If you're unable to visit the establishment, I was told they are currently delivering with UberEats. But if you decide to eat in or pick up in shop, the interior is modern and cozy, they have clean restrooms, and the owner, Erik, is very nice to chat with. Prices are very reasonable, service is really quick, and I was told everything is made as it's ordered.On my first visit I tried the Big Burrito and a Strawberry Water. Both were delicious! I'm not usually a huge fan of strawberry flavored things, but the Strawberry Water has real strawberries in it. Almost like blended strawberries with a bit of sugar, water, and ice. Very refreshing.The Big Burrito was quite good as well. They keep their ingredients simple because they use high quality steak, so it's just rice, beans, and steak. But everything is super flavorful. Even the rice tastes like it's been lightly smoked on a bbq. It's a decent size- I was thoroughly stuffed after eating it. The sauces they offer were a nice compliment. I tried the mild and medium, and was a big fan of the mild. It has a yummy savory flavor that I don't think I've ever tasted in a salsa before.I'll definitely be back AND ordering delivery from them in the future.
Erik The Mercedes is the best homemade Mexican food in the Yakima valley. I usually don’t review much but I’ve always loved Mexican food and have tried many many local spots around Yakima. He special orders Snake River Farms beef and really puts quality first in his cooking. You can taste the difference! the meat is so tender and flavorful it really is one of those hidden gems that keeps you coming back. Super awesome guy. You won’t be disappointed.
Erik’s food is delicious. There is a lot of good Mexican food here but if you want to find the best just google “best Mexican food in Yakima” and you will find Erik’s.
Great Mexican food with a little flare. I had the Cheeto burrito. It had really nice flavor and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Super friendly and fast service..got our table of ten ordered and served in ten minutes. Exceptionally fair priced for massive, delicious servings.Got the Big Burrito and these beans inside are the magic. Our table ordered a huge array of stuff and everyone is happy and full.
