While staying at the nearby Hilton, I found out this place has fried okra and was immediately obsessed. The first visit I had a brisket dinner with the fried onions and fried okra, and the next time I got the Mac and cheese with those sides added on. Both meals were cooked fresh to order so the okra and onions were hot, crispy, and perfect. You get a lot of food so I had leftovers each night. Definitely not the healthiest place to eat 2 nights in a row, but very very satisfying.
i order my food though crubhub I ordered Pulled pork and ribs & dinner rolls they were good, i ordered the some sides they were good as well just we didn't get our Mac & cheese like we order because on slip inside my food bag said they were out of mac & cheese. Very disappointed. yes we got an extra side but of what we already ordered. (something different would have been better) and the cornbread we ordered was dry dry & crumbly. I'm kinda disappointed because it's Not exactly what I thought it would be. Half our order was good so big the other parts weren't. for the price i paid it could of been better. That's why I would rate this place a 3 instead of a 5 being excellent. Good food not just not what I excellently expected or ordered.
The lettuce in my ranch salad was mostly ? bad the pork was ? the roll was harder than a ? hockey puck
had a pulled pork sandwich meal. yummy in my tummy ?
I ordered through Uber eats we got a family meal, a drink and side order part of our order did not arrive & than we got the last container of food there was what looked like rotten meat in the bottom of the bag. It was disgusting, we ended up not eating it and contacted Uber. I’ve never in pickup, Uber eats, or delivery have ever gotten a piece of rotting food in a bag next to food. We were disgusted, it smelled and was very foul even to look at.
Great tasting bbq done in Texas style. Meals of 1, 2, or 3 meat plus sandwiches of Brisket, ribs, chicken, turkey, pork, and sausage. Plus excellent selection of sides including okra, corn, beans, Mac n cheese, etc. Rolls and cornbread round out the meal. BBQ sauce is available in sweet, spicy, and regular. With bottomless drinks and a few desert selections you can have a great meal for around $12-15. Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant was clean and decor was normal Dickeys. We’ll definitely go again.
The food was good until you find a big piece of plastic in your last bite and per James “this happens often we have to keep an eye out on that” ????

July 24, 2021Four of us came in to try for first time.The ribs, brisket, polish kielbasa, slaw, beans, mashed, & fried okra.We spent over $60. The food was okay. Really small portions. Lots of fat on ribs & pulled pork. The slaw wasn’t very flavorful, okra okay but from freezer (I asked), beans okay very watery, kielbasa small slices.
