As someone who grew up in metro-Detroit, I was so excited to find this place that took on pan style pizza. We’ve ordered here a few times and it’s always enjoyable. Tried their round pizza for the first time (Go Hawks pizza) and it was also great! The only complaint we consistently have is the crust/dough is more doughy than we’d prefer. The buttery, almost burnt crusts on Detroit style are what makes me feel at home - and these miss that mark. Still good pizza though! We will have to eat inside sometime to see if it’s just an issue with carry out orders. Will still eat here to get my fix!
Good food. The cheesy breadsticks are different than expected but flavorful. Just difficult to eat because the cheese isn’t melted. Usually better service. We were there July 4 and they were one of the few restaurants open so it was quite busy. The prices are a bit high. Now I remember why we don’t go here too often. If you’re not having multiple beers it wouldn’t be too bad.
I rented their party room for my friend’s baby shower. It was great! The staff was super accommodating and worked with me to order the right amount of pizza for the number of guests I had. The whole process was very stress-free, which was so nice when hosting an event. They have a wide variety of pizzas, including vegan and gluten-free options, to accommodate a lot of different food preferences.
I brought my entire team of 25 girls golfers for some pizza and some fun. We had an amazing time!!! The service and pizza was top notch!! It was a great time for all my girls, and would not hesitate for two seconds before coming back in for dinner or having my next event there!Thanks againShane
We had my daughter's basketball team party in the private room at Pizza Coop last weekend. I give Pizza Coop 5 stars because 1) it was really easy to make the reservation online, 2) I liked that there weren't lots of forms and a room rental fee, just a $300min for a Sunday night, 3) Molly (our server) was really good- friendly, attentive, organized, brought our food out quickly, 4) the food was really good, 5) the party room was ready for us when we arrived, nicely laid out and gave our group a sense of privacy/separation from the rest of the restaurant. I highly recommend having your group functions here. Well done Pizza Coop!

Not very friendly staff. Just depressing atmosphere, my waitress seemed miserable.
This was our first time here, and we had a really unique, great Cooper-style pizza (1/2 supreme, 1/2 taco), along w/ yummy cheese breadsticks. The service was friendly and fast, and there was a lively ambience. If anything, they really need to reduce the saltiness in the pizza. I don't like salty foods, but it was even too much for my wife who loves salty foods.
The chicken nugget pizza is incredible!! We love ordering from here on Saturday’s for our employees. Such good food and customer service!
Great live music on Friday 6-8:30. Pizza is awesome, great pizza spot for families.
