This was a return visit and we enjoyed ourselves again.
Celebrated our anniversary and had a gift card. Baked Brie was amazing and our wait staff, Izzie was the best. Outdoor dining worked for us.

My wife and I were looking for a place to grab a casual bite. Nothing too heavy given the warm weather. Easily made a reservation and enjoyed a calamari appetizer with a very nice dipping sauce, we each had a chopped salad and enjoyed a bottle of Italian wine. Well done Purple. Just the evening we were looking for.

Didnât help that shortly after seating, Open Table decided to claim this 100 point reservation was only going to get 0 points. Overall experience was fine and friendly. Although we explicitly asked not to rush, the salad and main courses came out all at once. They split the halibut for sharing as requested but it seemed dry and a little cool, like it had been waiting for us to finish our appetizers. We suspect some sort of timing issue in the kitchen. The truffle Mac and cheese was very good. Although we were welcomed for our 34 wedding anniversary, that was it. No questions of what we may want for dessert. So we didnât get any.

Fabulous food! Wonderful service - very gracious and accommodating! Took a group of 8 to celebrate GF's 60th Birthday and everyone enjoyed the food and service! We ate family style. Loved the purple chopped salad the tried many appetizers. Sad no brussel sprouts available but the asparagus was delicious. Dungeness crab cakes and burrata caprese were fabulous. The crab mac & cheese and pea pesto bucatini as well as the beef bolognese as well as the pan roasted halibut were exceptional. Save room for dessert - one of the all time best crisps any of us had every had was the cherry apple crisp. EXCELLENT! : )
We were seated quickly though for some odd reason there was a huge puddle of water under my chair which the hostess quickly cleaned up. I asked our water for three separate tickets and he said fine. When we asked about different wines it seemed like he really didnât know and the over all service was lackluster. It felt like he didnât like us very much and we were just a table he had to serve. When he brought the bill it was not separated and we decided to just pay it rather than ask for separate checks because our waiter didnât feel approachable. However, the food was excellent. Both the kale and chopped salads were superb. They just need a friendlier wait staff.
