A great place to unwind. Calm relaxing atmosphere. Live music Th - F is awesome for a datenight. The short menu is delicious and drinks are wonderful. Its.nice to sit around the outdoor fire and meet people from all around the world.
Came in after work on a Friday to see live music. The place was busy for Happy Hour (HH), but still able to find a table for 2. 45 mins after HH ended, the place cleared out by 50%. Ordered the double-patty smash burger, and it was DELICIOUS. It's not often you find a properly-done smash burger -- WELL seasoned beef, nice crisp edges. Meat was NOT overcooked. Nice melty American cheese and some grilled onions. Will order the smash burger AGAIN! Oh and the live music was great -- try to get a seat out in the patio during the summer if you want a better view (and listen) to the live music. Also, about 75% of their menu was gluten-free. GF burger buns available.

We were there for a wedding. The hotel offered a lot of conveniences, including coffee, snacks, and spa water in the lobby, Friday morning mimosas, Nespresso machines in the rooms, on premises dining, and a tremendous staff who were always friendly and accommodating. The location was walking distance to so many options for dining and wine tasting, as well as to beautiful walking/biking trails. My favorite feature of the hotel was the beautiful herbs that were artfully planted throughout the grounds. They even had little bowls set out with snippets of the fresh herbs and tongs to help yourself to a taste. This is a very special gem of a place.
Beautiful building and patio. On the grounds of a beautiful lodge. Shareable plates, cocktails, wine, beer. They do not take reservations. Often have live music. Great staff.
Great food, great atmosphere, great service! We left not long after the live music started, but it was awesome. Looking forward to visiting again some time!
Such a friendly and beautiful place to stay!
Me and my Wife just got married and to celebrate we decided to come in for a couples massage. When we arrived we were taken to separate rooms and I was very confused about this. I found out they had given our couples reservation to someone else!?! We spent $500 for this and for there mistake all we were comped was $50 taken off our massage. The women who helped up completely blew us off. I want this situation resolved because I plan on calling a manager or higher ups tomorrow and telling them how I would like our money back. Instead of having a you should be happy we comped you $50 come on it's our honeymoon. I will also post to all my social media sites and let everyone know not to ever do business here.
We had a beautiful stay here as part of our honeymoon. The staff was helpful and friendly. The spa was wonderful for a couples massage and the food at Barking Frog, delicious! Definitely a romantic spot, with lots of wineries and tasting rooms nearby as well. The fireplace and jacuzzi in our room added something special.
