From the moment that we entered the door was opened for us and we were greeted with smiles the invithe environment was clean And everyone was so inviting inviting and happy to have us there as Though we were guessed in their home . Prepared immediately we were served our waters and salsa and bean dip with cheese cheese are menus were given to us right away and the icing on the cake was that the waitress Came by a couple times to make sure that we were satisfied with our food but they're food but not interfering so often that we couldn't have Conversation the chef came to each and every table as we started our meal and as we were in the middle of our meal to make sure that everything was as we desired … then the check came and we were shocked At how affordable it was For the things that we ordered everything tasted outstanding !Highly recommend! We are now gonna become regulars!
The food was good and the service was fast but with each refill of my drink I was given a new beverage. I ordered dr pepper and was presented with root beer, then coke, and finally iced tea. And the food was VERY PRICEY for the small portions
Party of 4 all liked food selection. Good atmosphere and pleasant staff. Tried the margaritas and they were good.
Excellent! Service was exceptional and the food was fresh and fantastic. The fried pork carnitas and the carne asada were better than we get in Mexico. Caliente is our new "go-to" Mexican restaurant on the Eastside.
As a Hispanic I think that this place made me feel unwelcomed. The food was delicious but the customer service was lacking many qualities such as having manners and attentiveness. I came with my mother who is a Mexican and as I took my step in the restaurant it was like being in another world where people around talk so loud you can't even hear yourself and sitting next to a stranger is really uncomfortable when its busy and the only table available was the one next to a couple (I made a reservation for 2 people). There was no Latin music that I could hear because people were talking so loud that the music was shut down. I would say that if people who have cultural backgrounds similar to mine are trying to find a neat and calm place to eat and feel happy, try going to Santa Fe or Azteca.
Excellent Mexican food with very attentive and friendly staff. My daughter accidentally spilled her water twice and they were so kind and understanding. The prices are very reasonable for that quality of food. It's our new favorite Mexican on the Eastside of King county.
Tried the other two Mexican restaurants nearby so thought we would give this one a try. Don't waste your time. Ridiculously small portions, high prices, and food isn't great. Chips were my favorite part, which is not saying much. Husband ordered carne asada with chile poblano. For $24 you get a small and thin piece of meat and one half of a green onion. Really?!?! I had the beef enchilada with chile poblano. Mediocre at best. Won't ever be back. What a bummer.
Had the Fundido, chicken wings and shrimp for Happy Hour. Food was very good. Only 1 IPA in tap, my friends had the Margherita and said it very very good with some kick, good pour.
I got the chile colorado and it was extremely salty, and quite thoroughly inedible. The enchilla was subpar. The tortilla soup was also quite salty. I had to throw it away. The two stars just goes to my delivery driver bringing it in time and still kind of hot.
Awesome happy hour, really really friendly service, and the food was super tasty. Would absolutely return!
