The chefs at El Agave have incorporated fresh mushrooms into many of their dishes. Something I am not used to but I had the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo, shrimp, mushrooms sautéed in a garlic sauce and it was one of the best things I've ever tasted! Not a traditional Mexican dish, but accompanied with traditions like pico de Gallo, and flavorful beans (not refried). $9.00 at lunch for one of the best things I've ever tasted? Yes we will be back to try more things at a really innovative restaurant.
Made a pit stop on our way into Wenatchee. Food was good and margaritas were super yummy. I would go back! Portions are big too
The service was good, waitress was friendly, ceviche was not great, but the carne asada was delicious.

This was the best meal I have ever had in my life. the staff were so friendly, and helpful. the restaurant demeanour was very high. I had the carnitas fajitas which were so amazing. the meat was perfectly tender, the beans and rice were brilliant. the portion size was amazing and every bite was unbelievably delicious. practically two meals for the price of one. the best thing in Wenatchee is this restaurant. Brilliant doesn’t even begin to describe how amazing this restaurant is. plus the salsa is delectable. this is a must try. the chefs are so talented!Part 2 (EDIT)this was my second time eating at El Agave and the food and service is remarkably consistent. Our server tonight Gil was amazing (we even got a picture with him with sombrero’s). He made our dining experience even better, all the workers are so nice. The food was just as amazing as the last. I had the same meal as last time (the carnitas fajitas) and it was extremely delicious. Everything about the food is so good, the chef even managed to make my friend who does not eat vegetables, eat vegetables! I will never forget the meals I had at El Agave and the experience of authentic Mexican cuisine. I will ensure some time in the future I make a trip back to Wenatchee to go to El Agave!
If I could give this place a 6/5 star review I would. Genuinely the best Mexican food I’ve EVER had SOOO delectable. The restaurant was so cute, clean and just had a great atmosphere overall. Everyone eating there seemed to be having fun and enjoying themselves (and their meal). The staff were so friendly and very helpful. I had the steak fajitas and they were perfect. Definitely beyond worth the price... would have even payed double the price for the meal. Perfect is the only word I can use to describe El Agave. PLEASE eat here if you are looking for a good restaurant in Wenatchee. Best place ever. I ate there an hour ago and am still in shock.(EDIT) Tonight I went back to El Agave for the 2nd time... and yet again they pulled through with an astonishingly delectable meal. I had the steak fajitas again and they were beyond remarkable (again). Tonight we had the most amazing server named Gil, one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Got to take a picture with him in sombrero’s!! I am so great full to have experienced authentic Mexican cuisine at this amazing restaurant and will definitely never forget it! Words can’t even describe how much I love El Agave. The next time I am near Wenatchee I will be making a trip back?
Very disappointed! My husband and I use to eat there often but hadn’t been there in quite some time and the quality of the food was very poor. We would not return.
We went here for my brothers birthday and it was a hit! The server was very friendly. The portions of food was large and the price was reasonable. It tasted great and we had no complaints. They were nice and gave my brother birthday shots while singing happy birthday. It was quite the experience :)!
