While the food is undeniably excellent, a glass of wine is grossly overpriced. They were full but were able to seat us at the bar where the bartender was struggling to fill orders and wait on us at the same time.
Very impressed with the vibe at this restaurant. Everyone very friendly and working together as a team. Food was very good, advise was helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Wow.Just....wow. The tongue pastrami...the octopus....the halibut cheeks...the marrow...just wow.Am I being inarticulate because all I can say is wow? Or is that just a sign of how fantastic the food is here. Oh yeah, the service was great, too. The waitress was kind to our kids and did a great job with everything.So the best way to sum it up is......wow.
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary at Hattaways. The service is always impeccable, so friendly and personable. The food is beyond amazing, melt in your mouth meat and flavors that are to die for. This is the place that made me fall in love with bread pudding, so I was thrilled to find it still on the menu. Cocktails are delicious and all unique. We already picked out what we want to order when we return for another special occasion!
This place is a hidden gem. We had the duck confit fried rice, halibut cheeks, beef cheeks, and shrimp/kielbasa etouffe. All of them were phenomenal. Some great flavor construction in each dish. For dessert we had the duck fat corn cake and bread pudding which were great as well. Don’t sleep on the pre-meal pickles or pimento cheese as well. Highly, highly recommend this place! Also, service was top-notch.
The pimento cheese app was sooooo good. When my dining partner arrived I found out she doesn't eat cheese, oh well, guess I had to eat the whole thing! The celery salad was amazing.
Awesome staff and food! Really enjoyed my meal. All the dishes i tried were delicious. The duck fat corn bread desert was amazing.
Don't judge a book by it's cover! Unassuming street appeal opens up into a culinary delight when you go through the door. The celery parmesan salad (which we split) was fantastic. Clam & Sausage and Shrimp and Keilbasa are delicious. Lots of gluten free options. Generous portions. Mark is an excellent server.
Exceptional food and service. The chips & dogs were tasty, loved the chicken & grits. The over the top dish, fried Brussels sprouts, was exceptional...Best sprouts I've ever had. For dessert we split a tiramisu cake. Very good cocktails and great wine list.
Absolutely terrific spot to dine on the patio.
