Wonderfully authentic space that was delightful and delicious . Cleaned my plate and ate garnishes too , and every piece on the plate was tasty .Ordered a sope - cook hand made it after I placed my order ?????The horchata was too good - came topped with pecan and an orange slice .Sope and horchata cost me $12Prices are crazy low TBH .I will visit and support this business whenever in Walla Walla.Service was also fast and he checked in as I ate my meal . ????GO TO GRANDMAS
Everything is delicious. No one had something they didn't love. I had the nachos and the burrito and both were amazing. Would absolutely go back.
Went there for Easter weekend. It might have taken a little time to get the food but it was nice and refreshing and not a bad price. The gentlemen serving and cooking food did a great job and was a little hard on himself. I can't imagine having to wait on people and do the cooking too. I'd probably fail. Thank you for working so hard.
I'm pretty sure that man working this outfit is part machine. Unreal efficiency and service, helping each and every guest and cooking every dish. Dishes had incredible and pro presentation, too! It is really affordable and your food will look like a high high high-range splurge.
The most underrated Mexican restaurant in Walla Walla. It's classy and original food by a vet. Price is very fair. All ingredients and drinks are done in house
Grandma's Kitchen is a small Mexican restaurant but was truly superb. Due to staff shortages through Covid, Manuel was waiter, cook, and clean up. He was in constant motion but attentive to any need you had. The food was great and he had time to visit when things slowed down a bit. He thanked us for our patience, but it didn't seem like we waited to long at all. The hibiscus tea was great, something I hadn't had before. Thanks Manuel for a great lunch.
Good food, good service, good prices. Nachos, guacamole, burrito, tacos, all excellent. Peach tea was great also. Large portions. Small place with one cook and server but he got our group of 4 handled reasonably fast. Each dish nicely prepared. One warning, most pictures on the web site are specials not available daily, like Chile relleno.
Finally found real authentic Mexican food!! The taste is immaculate. You can tell everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. And our server was very nice. Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely LOVE Grandma’s Kitchen! Restaurant run by a total of two local individuals; Abuela and her son, Manuel. Grandma cooks and Manny serves. On Grandma’s day off, Manny sits in as chef too! Please grant them patience, as they are only a two-person crew. Know, it is well worth the wait! Manuel has always been so hospitable and friendly. Bends over backwards for his guests. The food is authentic from where they came from. Not a huge list of menu items, but all are fresh, delicious, and so full of flavor! Different hot sauces paired specifically to certain dishes. Yumm!! Grandma’s Kitchen is definitely part of the heart of Walla Walla. If you haven’t been….GO! ??????
Do not dine here if you only want to grab some fast food - it’ll take some time since it’s family-owned and everything is made fresh. But - the patience is definitely worth waiting. The food was beyond amazing and the flavor remains in your mouth long after the meal. The owner and his mother (the Grandma) takes care of the majority cooking and serving, both are extremely nice people. It’s also a veteran-owned business, with extremely reasonable price. Highly recommend it.
