I have been going here as long as I can remember. It was ALWAYS the place that my family and I would go to if we wanted to go out and eat together for every special occasion. The employees are extremely kind, and without fail, every single time I’ve been there I have always ordered the fruit pancakes with fresh Klicker’s strawberries and incredible whipped cream and it could never get old! I know all of there food is amazing but I’m a stickler for ordering my favorite.
Clarette's is by far one of the best breakfast options in the area. Their pumpkin pancakes are perfect ?
For someone not from the area, it was a somewhat confusing area to get into.Staff was nice and helpful, kept me or asked if I wanted refills on drinks, and took my dishes when done. It wasn't that busy for early dinner.Food was good, got the burger and fries and a salad. Burger comes the way I like it, separated so you can add the toppings yourself from the plate and the bun won't get soggy before you eat. Can't say the cheese that was used in the burger was in my tastes, but overall it was good.
The Cheese Blintzes were amazing with local strawberry sauce on top, the French Toast was wonderful as well, but the egg combo was just so-so.The coffee was great and the servers were friendly. We will be back, I will just order something different.
Great attentive, efficient and quick service for our first visit here.Located on a dead end, parking was easy to find. Pancakes were cakey, but sweet and moist. Omlet was thin and light. Great they have a dark and lighter coffee to choose from.
Stopped in for the biscuits and gravy breakfast (comfort food). Place is very clean and has a nice home look about it. Staff were fast and attentive. Service was soo fast it was unbelievable. I had my plate literally in 2-3 minutes after ordering. It was soo fast I was shocked. Food was great, simple biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon. Everything was perfect. I will be back to try other items. Thank You
Great comfort food. Can take a while to get seated at times (mainly breakfast on the weekends) but that is to be expected.Much of the waitstaff has been there for many years, so they know their customers, as well as the menu. Very consistent on quality and presentation. Reminds me of the diners that I loved going to when I was a kid. Dont see them much, anymore.
Great spur of the moment dinner out. Clarette's has great Northwest comfort food. Good service and good food. Services both younger tastes for the college next door and the rest of the neighborhood. I highly recommend them.
Good service and great options. Can get crowded on weekend so make sure you get there early or ready to wait
My husband and I stopped into Clarettes for breakfast. It is an old favorite for us. We were so disappointed by the food quality and the price. My husband ordered eggs & sausage. The patty sausage was served cold, and his medium eggs had white runny slime. Not good. The waitress offered to have his meal remade, which was great - but then he got burned eggs and burned sausage, unedible... I had an omelet that was mediocre at best, and the breakfast with coffee was $45.We will be crossing Clarette's off of our list.
