Unfortunately I didn’t feel comfortable eating much of my meal at Wagaya due to some cleanliness red flags we noticed while waiting for our food.We saw a large bowl of about 50-75 fried shrimp (already cooked and waiting to be used) through the door to the kitchen sitting about a foot off the ground on top of a cardboard box. One of the chefs took wasabi powder, poured it into a grocery store plastic bag, added water, and mixed it by hand in the grocery bag. Lastly, we ordered some crab stick sushi, and it tasted extremely fishy and old.I ate a couple pieces of lunch but decided it wasn’t worth the risk. We definitely won’t be back when other great sushi options are nearby. The other restaurants added cost is worth the cleanliness, quality, and safe stomach.
Food was good and not very expensive - we like the spicy crab roll and reordered. They are understaffed, but current employees seems to manage the gap well. Definitely worth a try!
This place is a gem first time trying today and it was amazing the presentation was lovely the prices are very reasonable and portions are generous I did order out which was completed in a timely manner I will definitely come back to dine in
The food was fine. My issue is with the horrendous choice they make in music they insist on in the dining area. Thumping, robotic, loud, irrational, annoying, and out dated music. With all of the musical options available I find it appalling that they go with the utter garbage they have booming through their restaurant. It is so loud you can’t even tune it out. I enjoy sushi and live less than a mile from Wagaya. I will not be back.
I ordered a bunch of sushi to go for the national Championship. The entire large order was completely correct with all condiments in the bag.Great Job the food was excellent. The dragon roll was one of the best I've had. Keep it up!
Quite a good rotating sushi bar and grill! They have a wide selection of sushi to choose from, and sold for good prices. All of the typical favorites, including unagi rolls and calamari, which is what I personally always look for. They also have some good in-kitchen entrees, such as the beef don and yakisoba. In addition, customer service is friendly, and the food gets to you quickly. I would gladly come back to this restaurant!
It is. Wonderful to have a sushi place that is serving small plates . They don't have the conveyor belt sushi going but you order what you want and they make it up fresh. It is so much better. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is open till 9:00 even on weekdays, which is so freaking amazing. Definitely give them a try you won't be disappointed.
Amazing prices and delicious sushi! It was made super fast too! The girl who was working was sweet and patient with me as it was my first time. The serving sizes were a lot smaller than I thought though; I ordered two rolls and was still hungry afterwards. It’s such a good price that I wish I would have ordered a lot more.
This place was AMAZING. Clean, good service, and some of the best sushi I have ever had. Definitely our new go to sushi spot in Clark County
Good sushi at a decent price. The rolls are a little smaller so order a little extra. Some of the rolls with lots of Mayo or cream cheese are heavy on the sauce so I prefer the salmon nigri and tempura shrimp rolls. Once you find the ones you like you can get a lot for your buck. Give it a try! Get nigri!!
