Friendly service! The Louie salad is on the small side and the seafood seems to be cooked in butter. Wasn’t what I was expecting but it was good. Great wine selection too!
What a fabulous find! A happy surprise. My partner and I took eight dogs to Ike Memorial Off-Leash Dog Park. We took dogs home near Uptown Barrel Room. We didn't even know this wonderful walk-around neighborhood is here! Anyway, food and service were absolutely outstanding. Melissa, who served us, knew so much about the different beers, and was able to suggest something for us both. So great. Like I said, food was outstanding. But mostly it was the feel of the place and the service. Melissa was great, makes us want to come back and treat ourselves at least once a week. Thank you Uptown Barrel Room!
Staff was friendly, food was a bit pricey (but what isn't these days), the Hawaiian burger was very yummy. The owner was kind and took time to come over to talk and laugh with us after we ate for a bit. Place was very clean. I will definitely be gonna back.
Went with a group tonight to celebrate a milestone birthday. Ordered one of their burgers well done. When I got my food, I cut my burger in half & it was very pink, I sent it back. Less than 5 minutes later they brought me a new plate with what looked to be a new burger & fresh fries. It was the same burger just a new bun as the hamburger patty was still cut in half. The burger was still very pink inside. They didn't cook it anymore, just fresh plated it with a new bun. I said I couldn't eat it and ordered something else. Other than this, the place was very nice.
This place is amazing! The wife and I had our very first date here before we got married. The food, service, and architecture of the inside is all beyond exceptional. They also serve pizza which is in my opinion some of the best in town. The burgers are also very good and of course the appetizers are amazing as well. Basically the entire menu is worth trying.
Honestly, not great. Not bad, but not worth the amount we paid for the food and drinks. The calzone bites (~$13) were burnt on the bottom and the burger I ordered to-go for my husband was quite rare, even though I asked for it medium well. The raspberry lemonade cocktail (~ $9, and was the cheapest cocktail) I ordered had a metallic taste, like the lemonade was cheap. The waitress was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant.
I had chicken and waffle. The chicken was fabulous. The waffle was like a Frisbee! The service was great ❤ Also my wife's cocktail wasn't great.
Went to wine tasting night at 7pm. Good crowd. Tasted 5 wines and they even brought 3 appetizers. We ordered the Angus bites w/ mushrooms to taste of the menu. Yum! We kept getting checked on, but when it was time to checkout, it took longer because they were grabbing the wines everyone was ordering. My boyfriend and I are not red wine drinkers but we ended up falling in love with a Red Merlot from Browne. Great price, great food, great ambiance!
Vancouver has a lot of dining options and I always seem to drive by on the way to somewhere else. The food is great (fantastic, actually) and there is a wide variety of menu choices at very fair prices. Definitely working it into the rotation more often.
Great staff, Alex was our waiter, and he was awesome. Prices were decent, some may find them a little high, but the food was great. Drinks were a little watered down.
