I love Thai and Lao food, but this has to be the worst food ever. One of the signs was there was nobody else there when we ate. I walked away feeling over charged and the take away experience of why did I go here and why did I pay over $50 an appetizer and three entree's. Worst papaya salad ever and I'm not sure what the ingredients in salad were. I will not be going back and I don't reccommend anyone else eat here.
I ordered from this establishment for the first time tonight. I ordered pad Thai and Tom kha soup. I did not receive Tom kha soup. There was no coconut milk in my soup. I called the store and explained and was told, by the owner, that it WAS Tom kha soup and there WAS coconut milk in my soup. She was rude and abrupt and told me flat out I was wrong. I am not wrong. I know what Tom kha soup is, it's all I ever get. Don't waste your time here, if you get an incorrect order, they will tell you that your wrong.
great Thai food nice owners
Love dining at this restaurant-consistently great Chinese food!!! It has been in downtown Vancouver for more than 15 years! Here’s to another 15!
The food is disgusting. Ordered green papaya salad and red curry. Both tasted nothing like other places make them. Red curry was disgusting. Could not eat it at all. Wondering if they got everything from cans then mixed and heated in a microwave.
I like this place a lot. I have dined here a couple times and got takeouts another couple times. The food is delicious and the portions are big.I actually really like the old couple that own and run this place. They are so nice and down to earth.
Their yellow curry is the worst I’ve ever had. Giving three stars because I’ve had other food here that was extremely good. It was just disappointing.
Wendi the bartender is great!
Tiger’s Garden is my go to for Thai food! They have, by far, the best Pad Thai and ginger stir fry, but you really can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. These guys work their a$$es off to make sure their guests are taken care of. We had to wait a little longer for our food, but what restaurant isn’t suffering right now due to a shortage of labor? They have a great bar and low key atmosphere while you wait. Bobbi the bartender, usually makes a special drink which will be listed on the board in the bar. The last one was a nice, warm autumn stunner with maple bourbon. Delish!
First time in Vancouver. I was hungry and was sure any Asian restaurant in the PNW was going to be awesome. I chose Tiger Garden and ordered Chicken Larb and Casew Chicken. It was the worst ever and small portion and expensive.
