The restaurant has a nice look at is situated near the water where you get some amazing views. In spite of that we had a bad experience...1. The music was just too darn loud.2. I ordered the seafood pasta. The pasta was absolutely dry. After a few forkfuls I found the sauce on the bottom of the plate. Not mixing the sauce and pasta together before serving is a terrible mistake for any restaurant - especially one that claims to be high end.3. Even with the sauce the pasta was rather dry.4. The service was poor. The waitress never looked in on us until after we had finished eating. Both of us needed to have our drinks refilled WAY before then.An expensive restaurant is expected to supply both good food and good service. This place failed on both counts. In fairness, the King Salmon was well prepared and delicious.

We went to dinner there on Friday night, had a reservation, got there a little early and the lovely Ladies up front were very welcoming, kind, funny and got us to our table fast... which only led to the BEST Waiter in the history of waiters, Dillon! Dillon was super funny, kind, attentive, gave excellent suggestions and was just an all round cool kid... err, young man. Inf act, everyone there that night were super awesome. Oh ya, there was food... and drinks. Both were spectacular and yummy. ZERO COMPLAINTS. It all was so good that I asked Dillon if they had a hand cart to just roll me out to the car. The food was delicious. It is worth the expense. Such a fun and great experience! Thank you Dillon and everyone at The Cove!

My brother and I went to the Cove last night and they got it right. Everything was excellent! I had the ahi tuna and my brother the scallops. Not a nite left. Even shared a dessert of butter cake ! Our server was awesome

We used my birthday gift card for lunch, and were promptly seated at a table overlooking the marina. Haley B. was our server - friendly, knew the menu, provided helpful suggestions, and simply a delightful human being! We selected the rosé wine of the day (superb!) and the seafood fettuccine. Our plates were not just beautiful to behold, but the pasta and seafood were PERFECTLY prepared (not overcooked) and the sauce was flavorful but not too heavy. Easily the best seafood fettuccine I’ve ever tasted - no foolin’! We also shared the warm bread pudding for dessert, and it was equally delightful - not too sweet and the portion size was not too large. We will 100% be back for happy hour, dinner, and brunch and are so happy this restaurant is just a 2.7 mile walk away from us! Love!

Tasty food, but ambiance is a bit like an upscale Applebee's.

Wonderful Restaurant, Will be our spot for a good meal. Beautifully decorated, great view, clean, nice help,And the food was delicious. Thank you!

great food nice view friendly staff

After living in America's Vancouver my whole life, I thought I've seen and tried them all! But after visiting The Cove for a surprise birthday celebration. I was unsuspectingly surprised to see that I've never been down to this part of the Vancouver waterfront! With that being said, the views here are amazing! Great views of the river! On top of that, the food is absolutely delicious. Well crafted with a lot of care and attention to. You won't go wrong with anything on the menu! The service was absolutely wonderful. Everyone here was so accommodating! I'd highly recommend for anybody looking for a wonderful date night with amazing food, views, and service!

Found a nice place to spend our anniversary that has vegan options. The mushroom and brown rice burger was AMAZING. Husband had the halibut fish n chips. Michael, our server, was great. We had the place to ourselves at 4:30 and it was nice! Great viewsCan't wait to go back and sit on that patio with a fancy cocktail.

Such a great addition to Vancouver's waterfront! It's away from the waterfront trail and feels like a hidden gem. The views are beautiful, the space is modern, the food is delicious, and service was friendly. They have patio seating with fire pits and it's pet-friendly! We got there around 5 and were fine without a reservation but by 6, it was packed.
