Amazing Thai food! A favorite of my daughter and mine. Large portions and very friendly.
The papaya salad is not great here. It often is made spicy by definition and they added no spices. They didn’t even ask for a spice level.Also, they participate in slightly odd behavior. They don’t tell you that they add gratuity tax (18%) and hand you the bill expecting to pay gratuity on top of your bill. It was only when I asked for a receipt (and read it after paying) did I see I had already paid gratuity. I felt like they hide this info on purpose because when I had announced that I had already paid gratuity to my friends and she overheard, she ran the other way.

They literally made me pay a $1 for this cuz I asked for another wedge of lime for my order. They are always so rude when you ask for a wedge of lime just seems unnecessary to me. I like their food but the lime thing always confuses me. I would go a lot to eat in with friends and they would always deny us anything more than 2 small wedges of lime for the table. They said they can’t give us more every time. It’s just weird I’m not asking for a lot I just like lime in my Phad Thai.
Usually this place is awesome. But the past few orders the curry was lacking in ingredients. Taste watery, very few veggies and meat. Also the containers have been 75% full. Not worth the price anymore. Time to find a new place.
Well, how to start. Thursday April 7th I came to Thai Wok Kitchen to have dinner.I order Moon Crab and Orange Chicken. Everything seems to be ok.I probably had walk two minutes out of the place and I started to filling sick. Making story short I probably have a major food poisoning. Today is Sunday, 3 days latter and I still feeling sick. If I could I'll give them ZERO stars.Not cool at all. I spent money and tipped well to this. Never will eat there anymore and don't recommend to know one!
Super good, love the food especially since all my other Thai spots have closed down. Really wish they had calamari though.
Great service, great food and good size portions. Their Duck, Khao Soi, TomKa are some of my favorites.. I try to slip in a new dish each time I go and it’s always spot on.
Very satisfying experience. Portions were big and the food was good. Service was very friendly and quick. Definitely so not skip this spot!Have ordered takeout too and food was still piping hot when I got home!
UPDATE: Thai Wok Kitchen continues to remain fabulous and the food remains the best in Vancouver. Dining in is back to normal with beautiful presentation and nice dishware and silverware. The service continues to be excellent. Especially Nita! ???Excellent service, cheerful and friendly. Fresh, delicious, excellent food. My favorites are the larb gai and phad thai. Beautiful presentation, fantastic taste. The place is small and not fancy, but the booths are private and comfortable. Really, this place can't be beat.
