Overall a decent meal and nice place to visit. The atmosphere was pretty nice, and I loved their cute metal cups. Service was pretty average, but they seemed nice. The spring rolls were decent, and the steamed veggies were done well. The veggies could have used a little salt. The Flaming Beef was decent, I ordered mushrooms added. The ginger was a little overpowering, I would rename this Ginger beef. I feel like it needed a little more to it, maybe some mixed vegetables. The mushrooms I asked for were great. This dish is a little sweet, and not spicy, I don't know where the "flaming" in the name comes from. The Pad Thai was good, although not what I would normally expect from a Pad Thai. It wasn't particularly nutty, which I prefer. If you order mild it will have no spiciness at all, so be sure to order medium if you want some. The noodles were thinner, I think glass noodles, and reminded me of ramen. It was pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Good food, decent sized portions and service. Only reason for the downgrade was the amount of spicy heat was much more than comparable Thai restaurants in Vancouver. My wife asked for mild (two stars) and what she was given was hot and I asked for medium (three stars) and was given very, very hot (on a scale of 1 mild to 5 hot). Prices we found to be a bit high too.

I liked the decor and the staff, I wanted to like the food. It's like going to get into a great looking hot tub and realizing the water is cold. I puzzled over the menu looking for a noodle dish, I am partial to noodles, but settled for the the peanut curry, I mean in a world of choices, the peanut curry seems like a pretty good bet. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the curry comes with noodles, but then come the first glitch in the experience when I find that the noodles are basically in one big lump at the bottom of the bowl. No Noodle lift, no rolling the noodles up into little bundles of delight, no long loud slurping portions that end up smacking you across your nose.Next while there is a good bite, it tastes green and too fresh, like they just threw the green chili at the last moment. The dish lacked depth, it just tasted like curry, like they didn't put a a lot of love or thought into it. It's not that it was bad, just a little sad...Sad curry. Not joyful curry or even wild curry, just regular curry. There are so many other places where the curry is like a wonderful tale of far off lands and mysterious sunsets. I have to wonder, are the cooks excited to be there? Are they passionate or are they just doing a job? I suppose If I was shopping next door at Tola Angkor Market (Great place!) I might give it another try, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Don’t get the $14 Tom Kha soup. So disappointing. Not rich and flavorful at all. Basically we’ll-seasoned broth with boiled chicken and a few mushrooms and cherry tomatoes.

i dont know if its just a bad day for them or what, but the quality of the ingredients was god awful this time around. the last time i went to this place it was pretty good. but this time im surprised i ate as much as i did.the lettuce in the spring roll tastes like the kind they put in the "burgers" in elementary school lunchs. the mushrooms are bruised and taste very off. some pieces of the chicken were okay, but most of it tasted old or freezer burnt or something. and the onions are transparent and losing color, on top of there being the core of an onion in my tom kha. the peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls was a super lumpy and weird texture. and the crab fried rice was somehow super bland. the ingredients were definitely already on their way out when they were hitting the frying pan. either that or we were given dishes that were left out and re heated or somethin. on top of all the food tasting old (admittedly i shouldve taken a photo when we first got the order) my soup wasnt even all the way full when i got it. it was almost 2 inches off the top.over all, it was a shockingly disappointing experience after really enjoying it the first few times. maybe instead of saving money on old or perished ingredients, yall could just get fresher produce? it would make the pricing a lot more reasonable. we paid 50 dollars for our meal (crab fried rice, tom kha, and spring roll with shrimp) including tip. i couldve made it at home for half the price with fresher ingredients, and honestly i regret not doing just that. i dont think ill be going back.*edit*i now have a stomach ache :( ill update to let yall know if this becomes food poisoning.

On the positive side, I really like that they use natural meats. I was disappointed though, when I ordered a grilled dish and found a ton of fat and gristle still on the meat. Even pieces of fat were chopped up as if they would be edible or something. I spend a lot of time trimming this myself which you would not expect when purchasing a 20$ meal. Very disappointing :/ you can see in the picture that is all the fat I took off. Even after I removed the fat I still got pieces of gristle while eating the meat. I would think with painted hills meat there would be better quality than this.

Ordered Tom Kha soup and Po Teak seafood soup on a cold day while washing bedding in the laundromat next door. Delicious, both, though my favorite was the Tom Kha with pork (pork could have been a bit more tender).

My son ordered doordash for lunch. He asked what I wanted and I said Thai. This is what he found with a 4.5 star rating.I'm not sure what the people that are giving it 5 stars are eating but it's a far cry from what we were served. I may have limited experience with Thai restaurants because where I'm from we had ONE and it was amazing but I would hope a city this size has many real 5 stars to.choose from. (All recommendations welcome)What I was served today was chicken that was nothing but fat and gristle. Who's in charge of ordering food let alone quality control? That was my first bite and impression. That set the tone for the rest of our meal. For the money spent and the food received highly disappointed. Cutting corners is how you lose people. From the looks of RECENT reviews you guy are doing just that? Maybe covid has hit your place hard and for that I'm sorry. I can't say what I would do in your shoes if that's the case.. low quality food is not how you keep the doors open. I wish you all the luck but word of mouth can make you or break you.

I'm so happy to have this place on my doorstep. Took my friends for their first meal here on Thanksgiving Day and they surprised with great all foods. I so glad they love it. Thai Time Vancouver is the best thai food i have eaten and very good value for the quality of food. Thank you all chef. ❤

Y'all, I just love this place. I usually order delivery, but I've also been in a few times and the atmosphere and the service are DIVINE.You can't go wrong with the noodles here. My favorite is the 62. Pad See Ew with chicken, extra noodles, medium spice. Pictured is that very dish that I ordered tonight, along with the charming and heartwarming message carefully drawn onto my lid. They make this food with love, y'all. Thank you to Ashley, Eve and...Min?...for capping of an INCREDIBLE day with this incredible meal and experience. I'm happy I live so close!P.S. This Pad See Ew is AMAAAAAAZING tonight!
