Coming from Chicago, bagels are a religious experience for me. I can confirm that these are hands down the best bagels in PNW. I come here weekly for religious taste bud experiences. Never have I been let down. The bagels are baked fresh daily and are soft and scrumptious, all the different cream cheese flavors are out of this world for both vegan and non vegan options. The sandwiches are all delicious; though I stay true to my lox and bagel on a toasted jalapeño cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese. I bring my family here when they come to town and we stock up on bagels and spreads for the week. Did I mention that often you’re able to get 2 dollar half dozen bags of day old bagels which freeze great!! Over all 10:10 I can’t speak highly enough about the delicious food, and staff that are some of the kindest folks I’ve ever met at a restaurant!
Have tried almost every lunch bagel they have. Never have been disappionted. To be honest i go almost every day for lunch as well. Thats how good it is. Staff is very friendly and nice.
We were in a couple days ago.. Yes the place was pretty busy, but our toasted bagels were COLD.. And someone brought in a pitbull. We aren't into places that allow non service dogs. We are former regulars. Very disappointed
Let me start off by saying that I do deliveries for UberEats and DoorDash and often pickup here. Just out of curiosity went to use their new online ordering service to try it out and I will tell you, it is more expensive then if you were to use any other delivery service. Just saying how I see it. Also, as I've been reading the reviews on here, many issues with cold orders, or now cross contamination of the bagels or old guacamole? Yikes! This is a serious situation that I'd be contacting the board of food health on this one. If businesses want our support for local, treat us right and most of all, with respect! I will continue to make my deliveries and be as speedy and professional as it should be, but with people not even wanting to work nowadays, I believe the food service industry is lacking professionalism as far as quality employees!
I went from being a regular customer to being one that will not be returning. We ordered Uber Eats yesterday, 3/5. Our order was wrong, which is not a huge deal. Mistakes happen. But then as my partner and I were eating our bagel sandwiches, we noticed they had what appeared to be old guacamole (likely from the prep counter not being properly cleaned) on our bagels, on the underside. It is obvious someone working did not do their due diligence to prevent cross contamination. It was also very clear that the bagels we received were old. They were very tough and difficult to eat.It is now 3/6 and we have terrible food positioning! I am hoping we hear back from an owner here or I will be talking to the health department. It’s lucky no one in our home had an allergy to avocado, or this situation would have been even worse.Note to owners: I’m glad you are all expanding. Make sure you don’t lose sight of how your operations are running. You lost several regular customers yesterday.CROSS CONTAMINATION IS NOT A JOKE. People can get hurt or seriously sick. Just because you are a bagel shop and work with breads doesn’t mean you get to ignore all of the health regulations that are in place to keep your customer safe.
Decent little cafe. The cold brew coffee was decent, they had self serve creamer after you pay which is nice. The bagel was expensive, but tasted pretty fresh. The obviously compensated for the price by trying to put 1lb of cream cheese on it, which I had to scrap some of it off.The inside setting was nice, plenty tables and spots to sit.Would be a good place to bring a group of friends to chill and drink a coffee.
First let me say I order here all the time. At least once a month if not more. I always get the vegan bagel sandwich with Just Egg and I always add sun dried tomato cream cheese vegan of course. The butter coffee is delicious. The desserts are delicious. My favorite place in all of Vancouver. Recommend 1000%. I go in person and use DoorDash or order online. You’ll always get good food no matter you choose.
This place has really good bagels and they also have vegan options which is really cool! But their service is terrible. I had never been here before (and told them that) and was asking questions about what came on the vegan bagels, and the lady helping me was very short and irritated that I was asking the questions I was. I recommend for the bagels, but the service needs a lot of improvement.
Incredibly nice staff. They do not skimp on the smears!Spacious indoor seating and some outdoor tables.
Love this place. Sandwich bagels are delicious. So is the coffee.
