Love their food! Such great quality for the price you pay. Thank you for making some bomb food ?. Keep up the great taste ??
I have around 30-40 bowls of pho per year and seldom at the same place twice. I am sitting here for the third time. Pictured is a Large bowl of Beef Round Noodle Soup from the menu. Beef comes pink from the kitchen, broth cooks it. The broth is magic. It has more depth than any other pho I have had in the greater Portland area. I would not say it is an oily broth, but it glistens with just enough oil to really coat the palate. Their house-made chili oil is a great addition. The portion size is impressive for a Sub-$15 bowl.I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, except for the shrimp fresh rolls. Also great, with an excellent peanut sauce.Highly recommend you try this if you’re looking for a big bowl of pho, it’s worth the trip.
I've been going since the early 90s and one guy still works there, food is great and very casual atmosphere.
Good and fragrant pho, I'll be back for more. The stir fried beef noodles were rather oily but tasty. They provided excellent customer service and were attentive and nice. Big plus for that. Thanks.
My first time and I ordered salad rolls and vegetable pho. The salad rolls are huge and yummy and the vegetable pho is amazing. They load you up with vegetables and toppings! I have two other go to pho places in the area and I’d definitely go back to Saigon. I went for lunch pickup and the restaurant was full, another great sign. Glad to find this spot!
Had the Vietnam beef noodle soup I liked it a lot. Good service and great food
I love this place; the food is fresh, authentic, and they've never gotten my order wrong. The bùn is my favorite!
Went for lunch and did not know about this place! Loved their food and the comfy atmosphere, just very simple which is what I like! Highly recommend this little place if you're looking for some comfort Thai food! ???????
Saigon makes the best beef broth soup (Pho) and salad rolls of any Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to in many towns.
For some reason I have avoided this place for years , I don’t know, maybe it’s the location, maybe something about the sign… anyway it didn’t seem promising. So, throwing caution to the winds, I decided to give it a shot. Well, my aim must be getting better! It was perfect, hot, well spiced comfort food. The condiment tray had copious amounts of basil, sprouts and of course lime. I sipped cautiously before committing to hoisin or hot sauce and found a gratifying depth of flavors with some deep star anis and a solid base of beef broth. I got the BBQ pork and Shrimp with egg noodle which were all done perfectly and joined together like instruments in a good symphony.Service was prompt and polite, the MI TOM XA XIU hit all the marks and the small bowl was plenty. I gave the soup a good shot of sriracha and hoisin, but I like a little heat and sweetness both in my soup and in my life.It is simply amazing to me how blessed we are in Vancouver to have so many good Vietnamese restaurants to choose from. Saigon Restaurant definitely takes its place among the have to try places.
