My daughter and I have never had sushi before and she was dying to try it. After reading all the amazing reviews, we decided this will be the place to try!\\n\\nIve never been the biggest fan of fish but I knew there was stuff there we would enjoy.\\n\\nWe started with the fried calamari. This has been, by far, the best calamari I've ever had!!\\n\\nWe ordered the pork belly noodles in case we hated the sushi and those were absolutely amazing!\\n\\nFor the sushi, we ordered the House Roll (it was loaded with ingredients we knew we would enjoy) and the Spicy Tuna Roll.\\n\\nNever in my life did we think we would ever put raw fish into our mouths and enjoy the experience.\\n\\nThe staff were super friendly and the restaurant has an incredible esthetic. The prices (compared to others in the area) are surprising - in a good way! Great place for a quick lunch!\\n\\n10/10 Recommended and will definitely go again!
This was our first time eating here, and we were very pleased. The service was fast and friendly, and everyone was wearing masks, which was nice to see in a food service location. My noodle portion was GENEROUS, and they had a delicious, slightly smoky flavor to them. My partner loved the sushi, and the Thai tea was SO good, not too sweet and lots of flavor! Not the cheapest place to eat, but we did order quite a lot (we'll be eating the rest for dinner later at our hotel) and we would definitely come back the next time we're in the area!
I come here every week, I have lunch dates here with friends, work meetings, or even just picking up to go for dinner. I am always treated wonderfully with respect and kindness. Today was different. I took my kids here for the first time, with my friend and her kids. From the moment we walked in our server seemed annoyed with the fact that there were kids. They are fairly well behaved, but they are kids. They did not run around, yell, or disrespect the property in any way. After we got the food she did not check in on us. And if we needed anything we had to wave her down and ask. It was not busy, we showed up right at the end of lunch hour. The cherry on top came when the check came. She added a 15% gratuity on the check automatically, and said it’s because we had a large group. (5 low maintenance kids and 2 adults). I typically tip more as it is, especially knowing I have kids and not everyone enjoys having kids at a restaurant. But this made me feel very taken advantage of. I would have tipped more if it wasn’t added on against my will. If I will be returning I will be requesting a different server, and I will not be bringing my kids back here. 2 stars because this is probably the best sushi in Vancouver. 1 star for our sassy server who I can’t even hear behind her K95 mask.
Our entire family loves Sachi Sushi, so happy to have such a gem near our house. The sushi is fresh, delicious and the portions are great. The lunch special is a fab deal too! Great food, nice decor and we love the videos that they play on the TV, entertaining enough for the kids while we wait without taking away from the experience. Would highly recommend this spot!
Went here on a lunch date with my hubby and was impressed. It was recommended by another couple so we decided to try it out and I’m glad we did! They had lots of choices that didn’t include imitation ‘krab’ so for me this is a plus. Everything tasted and looked great. Even the decor on the wall was fun.
Excellent customer service. Fast and friendly. My Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup was abundantly beefy and delicious with a hint of spiciness. Our sushi, however, was adequate at best and not as flavorful as we had hoped. When we go back it will definitely be for their delicious noodle soup.??
My go-to sushi place. Been coming here for about a year, the name deterred me for a while (thought it was tacky) and the fact it wasn't a dedicated sushi place, but they have amazingly delicious, legit sushi, that is a good bang for your buck. They also have good soup dumplings and chili oil wontons. I also tried their pork stir fry noodles that were pretty good as well, though their sushi is what I go for nowadays.
This place is yummy and the flavors are great. We started with the spicy wontons and Xiao long bao dumplings and both were great. The spicy wontons were not too spicy with chopped peanuts and the dumplings were juicy and soft. We also had a spicy tuna hand roll, the tempura Jalapeño roll and the spinal tap tempura roll. The Jalapeño roll was warm and had a bright spicy flavor, the spinal tap was spicy and had great crab flavor, almost creamy with the rice.
Great food, service, portion sizes, and the decor is great! Perfect place to take a date for a good meal.
The calamari was tough and service wasn’t the best, very busy. The rest of the food was great!
