Arrived early and got bar seating just in time for the last few minutes of happy hour. The drink we got was amazing, and the food was creative. The surprise favorites of the day was the elote and asparagus soup (yep you heard that right). We found enough dishes for vegetarians and meat eaters to enjoy so will be coming back again soon!

Multiple vegan options to choose from, so we tried three out of four tonight. Mushroom pupusas, tempeh tacos and sweet potato enchiladas. Everything was delicious! I'm disappointed that we didn't try Saap sooner. We'll be back soon to try the fourth option. Side note: the tempeh tacos and sweet potato enchiladas shown in the images below are their happy hour portions, so their regular counterparts are likely larger.

Beautiful dining experience with fantastic food an excellent service.

Amazing food, beautiful place.

I'd say they've hit the mark they're aiming for. Really good food at a reasonable price is hard to find and Saap pulls that off nicely. Tantalizing menu selections. Nicely prepared fresh ingredients. Christian provided attentive, friendly service. I think it's a good fit for Vancouver.

What an amazing lunch, absolutely delicious and great atmosphere for a business meeting. The Saap fried chicken is phenomenal as was the steak.

I personally have not been to many fusion restaurants and do not know much about Latin cuisine, so I was not sure what to expect when coming into this restaurant. However, I am glad that I gave it a try! Service was professional, quick, and friendly, from the moment I stepped into the building to the moment I left. The host ended up being my waiter, and he was nice and bubbly. I gave the Thai fried rice with miso beef a try, and the meat was absolutely splendid. The miso had a distinct savory taste but did not overwhelm the beef's natural flavor. The rice was tasty with generously big vegetables and mushrooms (I may ask for the mushrooms to be held next time as I'm not a fan and didn't realize that was there). The prices are a bit high, but it's worth the creative dishes, ambience, and service. I am thinking of bringing my mother here next time! Pretty cool place.

A restaurant that is located kind of in a hidden area in the Grand Central shopping center has a great atmosphere and some very tasty food. Our server Samuel was very knowledgeable and provided some great guidance on cocktails along with wine suggestions. Our meal had some nice flavors, along with the cocktails having a nice bite.Saap's signature item is their fried chicken, which is what everyone should get when they go there. It was fried nicely, the red miso glaze was excellent, not too spicy, just a good flavor overall. We also had the pork belly, which was fine, not overly impressive, but potatoes with the goat cheese smear and salsa verde were good and could go with anything. The appetizer of the mushroom pupusas were also nicely composed and tasted great!Prices like a lot of places are a little high, but the service, plus overall quality of food, this is somewhere that you should try out. It is a pleasant find in a shopping center that is anchored by Fred Meyer and has several other chain restaurant. Saap is the start of the area.

I can’t stop thinking about the Salmon Rice Bowl. It’s absolutely delicious! Last night I tried the Burrito Rice Bowl and it was delicious too, but the salmon is still my favorite. My friend had the steak bites and she raved about them. Can’t wait to work my way down the menu!

Yum! Very tasty! Creative flavors. There were only a handful of beers to choose from. Beer choice is really important for my partner, so I'm not sure how much we'll be back. The vibe was chill, and our server was friendly and helpful.
